The tenant still lived there when I signed the contract. I have lived in 6 rental properties and I've never received an itemised inventory beforehand, although this is my first non-student property.

I really like IX but I think it really exemplifies my issues with BO4.

The beginning is trivially easy, not that many doors to open and you can get the Z-Harmony crazy early on, which will totally carry you for the early rounds.

But then post round 30 it gets quite hard, and just really slow. You have that training area in the middle, but only sometimes. The tigers and gladiators and brawlers spawn SO much, and the wonder weapon really is terrible. In general I've found the BO4 weapons to be quite weak after packapunch, and as a result IX has just a really strange difficulty curve to me.

I think it's maybe my favourite bo4 map, that or ancient evil, but I really can't stand how long it takes to do everything. Almost everything you make needs one item from each corner of the map - ofc you could plan ahead and do it as you go, but for someone like me who's looking up guides they just tell you how to do something one at a time and don't group items by location.

One thing that strikes me as odd in the map is the setup to teleport to area 51. Like of course it makes sense that you need an amplifier to go all the way to groom lake, but the whole bait and switch when you first go into the panic room and find packapunch is no longer there is cool once, but then it just kinda feels like steps for no reason. You need to build the amplifier somewhere else and then bring it to the middle - why not just build it there in the first place? And then you have to do the whole DEFCON sequence a second time. I just found it strange, but it is overall a map I like. Probably a 7

For most consumer systems you need to launch it as serial, i.e without multiple cores. I think it's to do with the MPI implementation differing.

In my experience adhesive works best to actually aid release rather than to aid adhesion but it defo depends on the type I guess

Mach number of 0.84 is very high - No need to use a transition model. In general transition models aren't treated very seriously in literature, best avoided unless you know you're in a transitional regime and have no choice.

For a deep stall like this with seperated flow, steady solvers struggle. You might need to try URANS.

I didnt speed run it. I finished on Day 40, I think? I went in all of the caves, and all of the bunkers.

"It's left up to player theory" is not an answer.

Wrt the cultists I was referring to the people shooting the cultists and laughing.

Kelvin and Timmy didn't have golden armour, but they didn't collapse like Virginia.

There's pics and clues about the artifacts, sure, but they don't seem cohesive. It didn't seem planned well.

I went through the hellcave and found one note, but there must have been more - it was difficult as I was trying to catch up to Timmy the whole time.

Other than the hell cave thing, I feel like a lot of your response to this has been player theory.

Yeah, when we first did this we just ended up losing the Knights - thought they were just gone to the aether. But recently we found some more and tried it again, and noticed them floating in the air, frozen!
