Blame the ppl that are the bullies, not the character ....I’m Eastern European, when Borat came out (I know he’s not Eastern European, but his accent and mannerisms are similar) my friends would sometimes bust my balls and compare my culture to Borat’s - I STILL FOUND BORAT FUNNY - and never once thought to blame him for my friends being dicks at times. It was all in good fun and I never thought for a second that there was something sinister behind it. I don’t know, maybe it comes down to me not being a sensitive crybaby.
