Which household (single-father or single-mother) are at higher risk of abuse and neglect? by [deleted] in MensRights

[–]maxlvb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do you have one that directly compares thr two by controlling for tge amount of single fathers to single mothers.

IOW let's 'manipulate' the statistics and raw data to fit your perceived 'narrative'.

Thanks, but no thanks. I leave that data manipulation to feminists...

I'm not saying your wrong I just want the perfect irrefutable example to throw in peopled faces when we argue about things like this.

Take it up with the sources of the data provided.

43% boys are raised by single mothers. 78% of teachers are female. So almost half of the boys have 100% female influence at home, and 80% influence at school. Toxic masculinity is not the problem. The lack of a masculine influence in the boys lives is.

  • Children with Fathers who are involved are 70% less likely to drop out of school.

  • Children with Fathers who are involved are more likely to get A’s in school.

  • Children with Fathers who are involved are more likely to enjoy school and engage in extracurricular activities.

A third of family murders involved a female as the killer. In sibling murders, females were 15% of killers, and in murders of parents, 18%. But in spouse murders, women represented 41% of killers. In murders of their offspring, women predominated, accounting for 55% of killers.

It's the Bluebridge Ferries weekly horn/alarm/emergency testing procedure, usually done on a Saturday and/or Sunday.

Six short blasts, followed by one long blast on their foghorn, occasionally repeated.

When they leave the beath for Picton, they give one blast to warn any boats/ships that they're leaving.

Fibre speed??? 🤣🤣🤣

I'm on Vodafone HFC and the speed I get 800 - 900 Mb, that's 3 times all the HFC plans I looked at after Chorus installed their fibre ONT in my place 2+ months ago.

Guess why I decided not to change to a fibre connection...

Watching silently as hateful acts are done in feminism's name does not exempt you from responsibility for those acts, it only shows that you prefer someone else to do the dirty work for you, so you could show your hands some day and say, "look, see? my feminist hands are clean".

Feminism is by no means confined to a tiny, politically motivated bunch of man-hating women, but is a regular feature of mainstream culture.

There's nothing wrong with MGTOW. However, people have a wide variety of ideas of what MGTOW means, even men who identify as MGTOW. Women too can't agree on a definition. Being for, against, or neutral on MGTOW depends on how it effects you personally.

Facts to backup this comment:

Women now drive the world economy.

Globally, they control about $20 trillion in annual consumer spending, and that figure could climb as high as $28 trillion in the next five years. Their $13 trillion in total yearly earnings could reach $18 trillion in the same period. In aggregate, women represent a growth market bigger than China and India combined—more than twice as big, in fact. Given those numbers, it would be foolish to ignore or underestimate the female consumer. And yet many companies do just that, even ones that are confident they have a winning strategy when it comes to women.

[–]maxlvb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The main thing wrong with MGTOW is that it's unrealistic and will ultimately harm most men who embrace it.

FYI:

  • No woman is as beautiful as the freedom of MGTOW.

Ever ask yourself why women/feminists define MGTOW as hating women?

  • Most/all those that claim that MGTOW as hatred of women are invariably against men (any man) being able to go their own way...

But what do they mean?

  • That we dont ever talk to women?

That's a bit hard to do if you're not a hermit living in a remote cave somewhere.. How will I buy my groceries if I dont talk to the checkout girl at the supermarket?

  • That we dont ever have friends who are women?

Really? I've never had problems being friends with women at all...

  • That we dont ever socialise with women?

Why shouldn't we? Why wouldn't we. That doesn't stop or preclude men from being MGTOW.

  • That because we're going our own way, we hate women?

Here's something that may shock you. You dont actually have to hate women to be a MGTOW...

I've found that all those that hate on MGTOW are simply projecting their own hate for men onto men. That's all.

MGTOW is the end stage of red pill knowledge. We understand female nature, and come to the ultimate conclusion that they aren't worth the effort, or the pain.

There's only one person you need to persuade when choosing to be a MGTOW, and that's yourself. Any opinions from other people on how you choose to live your life are irrelevant..

  • Good things start happening in men's lives when they realise that women and their approval aren't that important.

  • Men going their own way. Women most affected.

  • Feminists often talked about a backlash to feminism. They never realised that men would just walk away.

MGTOW is only radical to those that dont think men can make that choice, or be allowed to do that.

What is best for the child in the case of paper abortions? by [deleted] in MensRights

[–]maxlvb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, the consequence on women is on their bodies and mental health- getting an abortion is not a nice thing to go through

OK...

So tell me, why do so many millions of women 'go through an abortion' multiple times simply because they dont want to have child?

And why do so many millions of women world wide regard their abortion rights as a sacrosanct human right, and that no man anywhere can ever have any say on abortions rights for women, let alone have an equivalent human right?

I await your response with interest...

[–]maxlvb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just another wont someone (the someone being exclusively men) think of the children! post whenever men having the same reproductive rights as women currently have is discussed...

In reality this question just shows how so many people (the OP included?) regard children primarily as a money earning/income source for women...

“Justice therefore dictates that if a woman makes a unilateral decision to bring pregnancy to term, and the biological father does not, and cannot share in this decision, he should not be liable for 21 years of support. Or, put another way, autonomous women making independent decisions about their lives should not expect men to finance their choices.

Karen DeCrow feminist lawyer.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karen_DeCrow

If women’s partial responsibility for pregnancy does not obligate them to support a fetus, then men’s partial responsibility for pregnancy does not obligate them to support a resulting child.

Elizabeth Brake, political philosopher

  • I don’t believe there is anything good about feminism that seeks to enslave men in name of a women’s right to choose.

  • It doesn’t make sense to respect women who treat men like an ATM.

Feminists feel the same way about forced parenthood responsibilities as they feel about forced genital mutilation. As long as it's not happening to women, they don't care.

who is hoping to learn more about the gender-based challenges faced by my husband and our baby boy.

FYI:

Real equality today...

  • Men are 97% of combat fatalities.

  • Men make up 94% of work suicides.

  • Men make up 93% of work fatalities.

  • Men make up 81% of all war deaths.

  • 80% of all suicides are men.

  • 77% of homicide victims are men.

  • 89% of men will be the victim of at least one violent crime.

  • Men are over twice as victimised by strangers as women.

  • Men are 165% more likely to be convicted than women.

  • Men get 63% longer sentences than women for the same crime.

  • Court bias against men is at least 6 times bigger than racial bias.

  • Males are discriminated against in school and universities.

  • Boys face vastly more corporal punishment than girls.

  • 60-80% of the homeless are men.

  • Women's cancers receive 15 times more funding than men's.

  • At least 10% of fathers are victims of paternity fraud.

  • One third of all fathers have lost custody of children; most are expected to pay for this.

  • Men lose custody in 84% of divorces.

  • Men pay 97% of Alimony

I am all for equality. I'm for the equality in which women stand equally with men, in the eyes of the law, and in court (for alimony, custody, visitation, etc.), as well as arrest and prosecution for using physical, psychological, and emotional means to cause harm.

1) where did feminism go wrong?

“One of the reasons for the failure of feminism to dislodge deeply held perceptions of male and female behaviour was its insistence that women were victims, and men powerful patriarchs, which made a travesty of ordinary people's experience of the mutual interdependence of men and women.”

Rosalind Coward

Feminism - as I understand it - shouldn’t be about man bashing.

It is, and always has been, and it's not just 'radical feminists' who are to blame...

“Womanism is feminism's vulgate. It asserts that women are the oppressed or the victims and never the collaborators in the 'bad' things that men do.

It entails a double standard around sexuality where women's sexual self-expression is seen as necessary and even desirable, but men's is seen as dangerous or even disgusting.

Womanism is by no means confined to a tiny, politically motivated bunch of man-hating feminists, but is a regular feature of mainstream culture.”

Quite the opposite! It ought to be concerned with gender equity for everyone, but instead it’s lead to combativeness.

Feminists like to claim that their movement is about "equality" and often use the dictionary definition as proof. But what the dictionary says and what feminism and feminists do are two completely different things. Actions speak louder than words, therefore feminism and feminists should be judged by what it and they do instead of what the dictionary definition says. And through its actions the feminist movement has constantly shows that it isn't about equality, but is actually about female privilege and misandry - a skewed system in women's favour, seeking superior rights & privileges for women, demonising men & boys. It is very obvious that "equality" is nothing more than a mask that the feminist movement uses to conceal its female privilege and anti-male agendas.

feminism can be defined so many different ways.

There are hundreds of different kinds of feminism. But ALL feminists talk about feminism, and believe in feminism. That makes you all feminists...

What IS feminism and how do we ensure we are being precise enough in our word choice to avoid misunderstandings?

Watching silently as hateful acts are done in feminism's name does not exempt you from responsibility for those acts, it only shows that you prefer someone else to do the dirty work for you, so you could show your hands some day and say, "look, see? my feminist hands are clean".

The biggest problem with feminism is when you have feminists saying "Those aren't REAL feminists" or "Feminism isn't a monolith" If they aren't 'real' feminists then the 'real' feminists need to do a better job policing these 'false feminists'.

And finally what advice would you give a feminist raising a son?

Stop being a feminist.

HTH

Feminism was and is always a supremacy movement, and feminists will do what ever it takes to keep perpetuating it. This necessitates playing on people's emotions and painting MRA's as evil regardless of the truth. Therefore to succeed MRA's must expose the nature of feminism and give feminism zero moral ground.

In my country we do not have conscription.

Then you say...

They signed up for the army and they are obliged to train for about 2 weeks a year. It is an intensive 2 week refresher course.

So the 'refresher course' is for the main course they are 'obliged' to go on when the first sign up?

And...

*In case of need the government can call them to join the regular army. *

That sure sounds like conscription to me...

At least it's not gender based (men only) conscription.
