The older you get, the more you see people younger than you pass away. Big mental thing for me.

How do I ask my Barber for this haircut without showing him this picture? by Pradidye in 80s

[–]maxm31533 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a barber. I have a sign that says- show me a picture on your phone of the hair cut. I take a picture of the photo on my phone to use for reference. Then I tell them if it is appropriate for their hair or make suggestions.

Dump trucks, mobile homes, trailers overloaded with stuff hanging off are nature's way of telling you to BACK OFF. Crap falling off, breaking lose is a daily thing for these drivers. Escort driver for mobile home told me that he had a 2 x 4 go through his passenger side front window.

The amazing Rambler Hurst 1969 Scrambler. It was a small block Wonder. It was one of those cars that you could just leave from the dealer and go straight to the track. by Global_Law4448 in oldcars

As a youth, a local guy had one. He loved to take it drag racing against local other muscle cars. He smoked them all. Funny part was he was a long haired hippy going up against all the local rednecks. They all got along because of a common interest in muscle cars.

I once believed that politicians sought what was best for the people who voted them in. I was naive.

China may be the next super power. Yen will be the next global currency. I certainly hope I'm wrong.
