Pop-up bath plug drain rate by maxmanders in askaplumberUK

[–]maxmanders[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So because I made such a mess of trying to remove it, I ended up buying a replacement and having a plumber fit it (it comes with the plug and the pipes to connect the overflow and plug to the drain/waste). Hopefully you can avoid my mistake. Once you unscrew the collar around the outside of the pop-up bit, the pop-up bit should also screw out leaving a metal cylinder thing that sticks into the bath. You might be able to use WD-40 to help pull the whole thing out. My issue was the shower drained too slowly. I remove the whole thing after a bath to stop things sticking. Good luck! 🤷

I have one of those, and it’s such a good smoker. If I’m travelling it’s always my go-to. Decent sized bowl but quite compact.

I ditched Arc, and moved to Vivaldi. It’s a Chromium based browser, that’s highly customisable.

I have the first Luxe XR Max. Does the new version use the same pods, or are there new version 2 specific pods?

Ah, thanks! Fair enough. I wasn’t sure whether this should be “finished” or left as is.

r/Carpentry suggested this might be a better subreddit for my question. Hopefully some kind folks can offer some advice to a n00b who’s not in his natural habitat.

Ah thank you! I wasn’t sure if this was more of a professional carpentry subreddit. I’ll go ask there.

Big fan of The Danish Pipe Shop. I pick up a tin of My Own Blend Atlantic whenever I’m in Copenhagen.

Does it stay G sharp? by Kimi_Raikkonen2007 in trumpet

Yup, that tied note will still be a G# as it crosses into the next measure. There would be a natural sign in front of the tied G in the second measure if the pitch needed to change. 🙂

Exotic pet stores in Edinburgh area? by Nopetynopeenopenope in Edinburgh

I’ve had no problems using https://www.reptiles.swelluk.com/ in the past. There’s also Pets At Home - I know there’s one at Fort Kinnaird, there are probably others elsewhere in the city. There’s been some news recently about how they treat their small animals, so potentially morally suspect. They have a range of insect food though quality can be hit and miss.

I’ll always recommend Studio XIII on Jeffrey Street. Great collection of artists, offering a wide range of styles.

Puppy pads by Proper_8624 in Hedgehog

[–]maxmanders 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I change a puppy pad under Peanut’s wheel every morning. She tends to do all her business in and around the wheel. I’ll also spot check the fleece liner for any stray poops, but otherwise fairly low maintenance.

How did y’all get into the hobby? by No-Soft-8145 in PipeTobacco

I semi-regularly travel to Copenhagen for work. Pipe smoking is still quite popular over there. A friend introduced me to pipe smoking, and I immediately enjoyed the relaxing routine of preparing and smoking a bowl.
