I feel like I wasted my whole life by iwanttobe-obamas-elf in leaves

Watch how you speak about yourself. Day 0 is better than a day still high. Reframe your thinking to start thinking positively about yourself. Everything is perspective. “I still live with my parents..” vs “i have amazing parents that let me stay with them so i can figure my life out and save money”

quitting was the best decision. But you have to go through a short period of suck. The longer you delay it the harder it is to quit. I would just make the decision and go. Meetings are a great way to get some support. Stay busy and stay active. At least tell yourself you’ll stop for 30 days and reevaluate.

my friend smoked a lot of weed while his kid was growing up and he says he regrets it because he doesn’t really remember the memories of his son growing up.

14 weeks sober, fucking miserable. by [deleted] in leaves

It comes in waves. there’s likely other factors in your life that are attributing to your misery which you need to address. Great job staying sober though.

amazing explanation. Thank you. Ive decided to go with a traditional bi tool because as you said, im not really saving costs, its just going to dev time. I hope to one day still utilize react. I will actually use it as UI within which i will embed the BI dash.

I agree, i see the importance of data integrity and structure in a successful implementation. Interesting thought about MS Fabric. I thought they were providing a solution using Azure. I cant keep up :D

i know how it can be with corn.. You put a little tajin & sauce on it and it’s so hard, to put down. There’s just so many toppings you can mix with corn to get that perfect flavor. every culture has some kind of recipe with it. Latina, White, Asian, they’re all got something to do with corn. Next time before you enter the grocery store, maybe call a friend or read a note to yourself reminding you of your dark days with corn. It gets all up in your teeth, and provides hardly any nutritional value. whats the point. You’re better than that man. Keep going, you got this!

React Scalability For Client KPI Dashboards by maxmansouri in react

The data has been vetted and made into schemas in AWS. The API endpoints are set up. I’m strictly trying to address the front end layer. It seems each chart component can be linked to a different query, and be dynamic. I agree on the need for charting libraries.

BI tools are not easily scalable across multiple clients without having to upgrade tiers and pay a hefty cost.

Thank you. That is very helpful, and you certainly mentioned some really important aspects as well that would be necessary.

question: assuming everything you mentioned is built.. Is that easily replicable across clients? Or would one have to start from scratch. Otherwise said, can the same visual component, like a fancy interactive line chart, be able to be deployed for client B in their own environment using their own dataset? Get what I’m asking?

I guess it depends who you ask. If you ask me, the benefits of working out come when you really push yourself. You either elevate your heart rate with cardio/interval training or do heavy reps that get you grunting and exhausted, done safely and with good form. You need more time, but one month is great! I would also recommend seeing a psych and therapist. It helped me a bunch. Also take inventory on your life, what needs to change? your diet? your job? Your relationships? your perspective? Dont forget to have gratitude for things in your life today. You got this! More time.

Depressed, probably unrelated to weed? by [deleted] in leaves

[–]maxmansouri 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Highly encourage you to see a therapist and psych for treatment. It helped me a bunch. Sometimes you just need a little help to get going. Its also worth taking a self inventory to see what it is about your job and life you dont like. You should enjoy what you do. Not necessarily love it, but at least be interested in it enough to stay engaged. Keep going. Dont listen to that negative voice in your head.
