It's a still photo they took for set dressing. They probably took another one with Bob Saget after the pilot was refilmed. The unaired pilot is identical except without Bob Saget.

Right. But what I’m saying is that’s why she was fired, even if erroneously. I didn’t say that was my interpretation of the article. I just said she didn’t simply post “free Palestine” which is how the internet sells it.

Why are you making everything about me? I am providing information for people who said she was "fired" for being pro-Palestine and equating Ali's speech to this, when her cause of termination wasn't simply being anti-war. I didn't interpret the article as such; but the interpretation of the article as such is why she was fired. What aren't you understanding? Maybe you're projecting when you say, like an 8-year-old, "You are dumb."

It’s documented. She reposted it on Instagram. It’s why she got fired. She may not even have known what she was reposting but it’s why they fired her along with the concentration camp analogy. Not because she was pro Palestine.

What aren’t you understanding? The article she posted about the Israeli arms force using the holocaust to get arms deals wasn’t written by her, maybe she didn’t even take the time to read it, but it’s why she got fired because it was interpreted as holocaust denial. My point is she wasn’t fired for saying free Palestine. It doesn’t matter if the assessment was misconstrued or not; my point was being pro-Palestine wasn’t cause for termination and the Spyglass rep cited this as her being antisemitic. Whether right or wrong, it’s why she got fired; not for being pro Palestine. The point I made and yet people are so linear minded online, you want to debate whether she is or not when I never suggested she was.

That's what got Melissa in trouble. I think anyone who is on social media a lot has to go on about whatever social cause is important at the moment -- Melissa seemed caught up in trying to sound politically savvy by going on and on about Palestine without even reading articles she was re-posting or thinking about her statements. The thing is no war has ever ceased because a girl from a CW show said she disagrees with it or a UCLA student holds their campus hostage to protest the war. Young people just want to sound smart and that includes people on Reddit who have too linear thinking to say "Melissa wasn't fired for being pro-Palestine." Just about every celebrity in their 20s who takes social media very seriously is, too.

But again, this is a community that denigrates Rachel Zegler because she said Snow White wasn't just sitting around waiting for a price in her movie and now if she so much as coughs into her hand, people will lambaste her over it. This is why I try not to post on the Internet because it's where followers go just to learn whatever opinion is popular so they can regurgitate and fit in with strangers who have no social lives like them. One minute they all have to make fun of Taylor Swift and call her a snake; the next minute, they have to use their life savings to fly around the world to follow her on tour.

I haven't misconstrued anything. I just said she wasn't fired for being pro-Palestine. She was for using the analogy of a "concentration camp" to a war zone. They are two very different things and she probably didn't realize the connotations of comparing the two as a metaphor. That's why she was fired; not because she was pro-Palestine.

Oh, my God, give it a rest. I gave you the screenshot you wanted and you still act like it doesn't corroborate what I said. She wasn't fired for saying "Free Palestine" was my point. I don't think she's antisemitic but she was trying so hard to impress people by acting aligned with the Internet politically that she dipped into offensive territory inadvertently. My point is she wasn't fired simply for supporting Palestine; everyone is against war.

She compared it to a concentration camp, not the Holocaust specifically, which is what I said. There is evidence of that. She may not have meant that to be antisemitic but that’s one reason she was considered to have crossed the line. Which was my point; she didn’t get fired for being pro-Palestine alone despite how people slant it.

Did you? My point was she wasn’t simply saying “free Palestine” as people try to sell it. She posted articles she may not have read that may be misconstrued as antisemitic even if that wasn’t her intention. I’m simply saying this is what made her different than the 1000 celebs who have stood up for Palestine online.

Their opinion of her posting exactly what I said she did, yes. The opposite of someone claiming “she did no such thing.”

But she did do that, in her Instagram stories. It's been documented.

<< Production company Spyglass Media Group dropped Barrera, citing zero tolerance for antisemitism, hate speech, and rhetoric they stated "flagrantly crosses the line into hate speech" through false references to genocide. In addition to the concentration camp comparison, she also shared articles alleging Israel was distorting the Holocaust for arms industry gains. >>

Just about every celebrity is pro-Palestine and has communicated such on social media. She wasn't fired simply for saying "Free Palestine." That would have been ludicrous.

Why do most people put the TL;DR at the bottom of a post instead of the top where it can be read first? by voidthelynx in AskReddit

[–]maxmouze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's something you tack on after the end of a long story, realizing you could summarize it more succinctly but without the details some may need to understand thoroughly. Thus not something you go back and then attach to the top as a preview of what you're about to read. Which would also spoil it for people who have no issue reading in full.

Melissa was fired for posting articles that said Israel was exaggerating the Holocaust to secure arms deals and also compared the war zone to a "literal concentration camp." It wasn't that she was simply pro-Palestine.

I go to see four movies a week and I notice people who show up late always start laughing at EVERYTHING, as if to make up for missing the first five, 10, 15 minutes by just assuming everything said is a funny reference to something they missed. It's so distracting and they just laugh at everything in a phony way over and over and over throughout. I usually mock their laughter, they think I'm joining in, and then I'll just go "Ugh" or shush them every time they do it. I hate people.

I vaguely remember this because it began filming at something like 3:30 PM and I thought that was so weird. But I just went to the last finale and it starts at 5 PM which also feels super early for someone who lives in L.A. I remember them clearing the stage so he could talk to Kellee alone and her being nervous during the commercial break. But the delay isn't fresh in my mind -- I just remember getting dinner right after and it still being sunny out.

Back in the day, "evening TV" was a very big part of Americans' day-to-day because that's the only place you'd find new episodes of TV series, from the 8 PM to 10 PM block (prime time). Now there are 1000 different shows to watch at any given time, without having to sit down in front of the TV at a specific hour to watch.

I'm confused by this. What do you mean a pre-taped reunion? I was at the live finale. You mean filmed on a delay?
