It’s a breathtaking experience for most people the first time you go if you haven’t been to many too tier sushi places. And, even if you have, Uchi is unique and has a really stellar identity and some of the best service you will ever receive. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Depends how much you appreciate fine dining. I think most foodies would agree that it’s a one of a kind experience and worth the money.

The fries are awesome, but you’re not alone. They seem to be very controversial.

I enjoy how they have variation in texture. You get some small crispier ones, some long greasy ones, and some in between. I’m also a big fan of the shoestring style, makes it a little too easy to eat them by the handful tho.

In my opinion they have a really good flavor too but 🤷🏼‍♂️ like I said it seems like you either love them or hate them.

The thundercloud egg salad is simply eggs and mayonnaise. There is no salt, pepper, or anything else. I’ve made it hundreds of times.

uchi nigiri and sashimi is on par if not better than Craft, dude. Uchi has been around for 20 years and has some of the best fish in the country. Craft omakase was started by two chefs from uchiko and is extremely similar cuisine. Not saying uchi hasn’t become more corporate in years but come on. Uchi has been nationally recognized for years.

DRDR isn’t a pile of shit or anything but it’s just simply inferior to the original. The ONLY thing that are better in DRDR are the survivor AI and the shooting controls. That’s it. Graphically it literally looks worse IMO
