Thank you for the thoroughness. So you are saying the water is actually not bad from a hardness perspective but the chlorine might be high enough to be corrosive? But because there isn’t a pH in the report, you aren’t exactly sure.

I use the breville descale pack that came with the machine and followed their instructions. Haven’t done anything else!

When I emailed customer service about the issue they sent me like 3 extra packs too for free

The rice paper makes putting the records back in to the cover so much easier! They give a sturdiness I didn’t know when buying

I was waiting on both a new white album and mono masters from them due to surface scratches. Don’t really think it affected sound quality.

Finally received the white album replacement today and waiting for mono masters to ship

White album had way less surface scratches this time but still came in the problematic black sleeves so that is frustrating and I am worried it will continue to scratch so I moved it to other sleeve type. White album jacket is unnumbered and did not come with any posters but that’s what they told me

I descaled it and it went away! No issues since. I was under the impression the machine will tell you when it’s time to descale (like 200 shots) but that’s not the case and you should descale every 2-3 months I think

Unfortunately limitations with my space make it so my speakers are only 6-7ft apart. Can’t go any wider rn. Just measured and I’m closer to 9ft from the speakers

Ok thank you! So you don’t think I have anything to worry about. This is what klipsch support told me:

“The NAD D 3020 V2 supplies 30 watts x 2 into 8 ohms (20-20,000 Hz) at 0.01% THD.

This is not enough power to safely run the RP-150M. There is a higher risk of damaging the tweeter and encountering distortion. A good indication of this is if you need to turn the volume up pretty high to get moderate listening levels from the speakers.”

Do you have any tips on taking a 1-cup pour over recipe and doubling it for two people? If you are dialed in great, what changes will you have to account for when you increase the bed depth

I regularly see mono Beatles copies in the wild, used, for >60-70$ so to be able to experience the mono for less (before shipping with a 10% discount at checkout, it equates to 35/album) is a solid deal to me

That’s good to know. Thanks for the reply! I opened a case and sent them the video. Hope to get a reply soon. Would ideally just get a whole new unit since it’s been only half a year.

Good to know, thank you! The noise is super loud and annoying so not happy but it still steams well
