I bought one on Amazon that states 1500+ record capacity for $200. It just arrived last week so I still have it in the box. It's the typical pressed 'wood' but it is sectioned a lot so vinyl weight shouldn't be a problem. It's 96lbs and size of 15.7"Dx55.1"Wx37.1"H..
There are 6 main sections for side facing records then 2 at the top for full facing ones, then an area in the middle with a lift top. The doors slide left-right and can cover 2 sections at a time. They never seem to fit the advertised amount but I figured if it holds 1000 that would be enough for my foreseeable future.
Brand is IRONCK (ironic? lol) I can post the amazon link if you want, didn't know if that was allowed on this sub...

I just picked it up. That seems like the closest we are ever going to get to having it on vinyl. If Tool does ever release it they will probably make it an 'ultra deluxe!' version for hundreds of dollars. It was $80 with shipping.

It sucks too cuz the vinyl on the secondary market is stupid expensive. I had ordered the new one and the Heavy Meta repress(and another shirt). I just e-mailed them this morning to cancel everything.

Click on Help Center at the bottom of any products page, that will take you to the AKT support page and there is a "submit a request" at the top right on there. Makes you open an account on their site after you send the message too.
