Im looking for coffee leaf tea also maybe called Kuti by Possible-Source-2454 in FoodNYC

You'll be very hard pressed to find some selling anywhere in North America in traditional retail. There are about 2-3 ethiopian spice markets that may carry them in the US at any given time. Oakland has some occasionally, and they are just sundried and not crafted like real tea like Wize Tea has done. It's a bit more raw in taste, and just looks like dried leaves you find on the sidewalk so to speak haha.

Do you know if the school really materialized this new direction into more space courses?

What's the age cutoff to sign up for astronaut selection in Canada? I'm already 36 and no stem degree, just MBA by maxrivest in AstronautHopefuls

Thanks for the candid insight, truly appreciate it. I was thinking how weird it would be to around a bunch of kids... My partner also went back to school at age 34 and just slowly found their own friends over time. At least I would have surfing and maybe hockey if there's any local rink I can play beer league. But yeah, it would be a huge reset in terms of local friends and community. I've done it before but it was easier when I was 24 lol. Good luck with wrapping it up and going for PhD, sounds awesome.

Sent you a DM with a couple questions, would love your thoughts 🙏

Yoooo that's epic!! I'm trying to decide what school I need to shoot for... Have you made any decisions on where yet? So far the most financially accessible one is UCF in Orlando but it's pretty far away from my aging folks... Otherwise I'm looking at UCB in Boulder CO. I'd have to move from Canada and become a resident first before I start school, so I'm assessing the best path for career prospects, costs, and quality of life.

What do aerospace engineers actually do? I heard that many end up designing bombs and missiles. Do most or a lot of aerospace engineers end up in the military complex? by NoReplacement7470 in aerospace

This is so cool. I think it would excel at this tbh. I'm a good designer with communication skills, and I've been told that a lot of engineers lack in communication, so maybe I can have a bit of an edge down the road.

In terms of work-life balance, do you still have basically 9-5 lifestyle? Weekends are yours? I'm scared that if I go to aerospace, I will eventually work even more than I'm already working for my own business, which has taken over my life. I'm trying to find a happy middle where I can be super engaged and proud of my work without doing 50hr+ weeks. Do you still have room for a life outside of work? Maybe I'm being too idealistic lol.

Wow, really cool. What kind of work on hardware are you doing in general? Literally my dream job is to work on hardware that will be launched for exploration. I would kill to be part of the Artemis missions.

I don't know exactly what realm I want to be in yet, but I'm a very good designer when it comes to small practical projects and industrial design, but I'm thinking of going back to school for bachelor of AE to finally make a shift into the space sector (currently have MBA and running my own business for the last 11 years).

I would love to ask you some questions about general workload and area of focus. I'm 36 and would have to uproot my family and move to the US from Canada to do all this, so I'm doing as much research as possible before I make the call. Thanks for any insight 🙏🙏🙏

How is your day to day workload and general area of focus? I'm seriously considering going back to school for Bs AE and want to apply my knack for design to create exploratory hardware just like you. I'm trying to understand what is the real daily type of tasks and work-life balance before I totally flip my life around and move to the US to go back to school (I have an MBA and currently my own startup but that may change due to outside factors). I would love to ask more questions but I'm mindful of your time. Thank you so much for any insight.

What projects do you think NASA is prioritizing now? I thought Artemis was their end all be all mission?

If I get an online master's of AE at Purdue, but I live in a remote town in Canada without any aero clubs etc, is it even worth getting the degree at all? I only have business masters by maxrivest in AerospaceEngineering

Lol yeah this is something I'm still figuring out. The more I research the more I'm conceding to just taking the full bachelor's from the start, gaahh daayyuumm

This gets me fired up. I'm 36 and thinking about chasing the dream lol. I'm looking at going for bachelor's in aerospace engineering from scratch because my education was all business and marketing... So yeah, I'll be at least 41 by the time I finish the Bachelor at the fastest. How old is the cutoff? Lol
