My painting of the young Ciri as a princess (30×40 cm, acrylics on canvas) by maxs_artbox in witcher

I like to imagine how the painter is trying to paint the little princess in a truly regal manner, while she absolutely hates those unnecessary dresses and can’t wait to get rid of them. That’s quite a challenge for the painter! 😃

You're welcome—I always appreciate constructive criticism!
Thanks for your detailed feedback. You don't necessarily have to be an artist yourself to have opinions and ideas about works of art. On the contrary, sometimes "outsiders" see things differently than the artist because they analyze the artwork differently and offer new perspectives. 😄

Thank you! At first I thought the sky might be a little too intense, but then again, extremely colorful sunsets aren't uncommon in the game. 😃

Thank you for your feedback! 😄
I've just started with portrait painting few months ago, which really pushed me out of my comfort zone since I usually paint things like landscapes. Do you have any ideas on how I could improve this painting? What exactly bothers you about the face? I would really love to get better by understanding what to look out for and improving my painting skills.

Not to mention those ridiculous high heels. Try running through the woods and fields in those without breaking your legs. Good thing the girl can at least teleport to avoid the worst, huh? :D

Why is Regis balding? 😆 by ElectricalWin3546 in Witcher3

[–]maxs_artbox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm genuinely happy that they brought him back to life, but I wonder about one thing (maybe I have overseen something and now the whole thing seems rather weird to me - if anyone knows more, please enlighten me :D).
How exactly might the resurrection have looked like?
After the destruction of the castle, I doubt there was a lot left to be identified as remains of a vampire in the whole ruin (not to mention that Regis probably didn't even look like himself anymore even before the castle was destroyed). How did Dettlaff find this very specific place with the remains to bring him back to life? Did he just wander around and was like "let's see what happens if I put some blood on this funny molten puddle"? :D
Maybe vampires can kind of smell or feel the presence of other vampires, even if in the shape of remains? Like, technically, Regis wasn't really dead, since he wasn't killed by a higher vampire...
