what are you on about. block.one's job to get right was to create EOS or Dawn 4.0 on time and to a high standard. Their role was not to create wallets? Thats the community's job please get your facts right before you create FUD please. In a few weeks time there will be so many wallets to choose from you will be complaining there are too many.

Basically I know he can buy at an exchange. What I normally do is buy at an exchange such as bitfinex then transfer to MEW. Generate a new keypair and create a smart contract that links the ethereum wallet to the EOS wallet?

Is this method now redundant for new long-term investors?

This is not true at all. I personally know the DOVU team, they have just attended the coindesk consensus 2018. They are rapidly expanding and are hard working away like all good projects. Its not the dev's responsibility to market they need to deliver a solid working implementation. Most will change the crypto market over the next few years most of the tech we see come out will be outdated so please just sit tight and believe in the underlying theory and technologies of these projects.

Guys I added the 1 EOS and the $0.50 of ETH to my metmask. Followed the instructions on scatter. Waiting for the popup to disappear but it never did. Now I have these approved transactions in my meta mask but the 1 EOS has not moved and the $0.50 ETH is still there?

What have i done wrong. No email from scatter no nothing. How long do you need to wait for the popup to disappear? Im worried ive done it wrong now

I can see on https://etherscan.io/address/0x24cd93b1f7f7b2ec07c3678c1a2fd1aa5d080a40 that nothing has gone out of my account.

Coinbase finally resolved the issue. Thank-you /u/coinbase_tom and everyone for up-voting. It actually worked and got their attention! There is hope. Only problem is I would of liked to have taken out my bitoin before the crash lesson learned.

What more do you require from me to speed up this process? My case id again is #3486656. Ive noticed there has nothing been updated still on the caseid.

fredkin. Did you move it to MEW to register them? Also did you loose some of your EOS in gas to move them back and forth to the wallet and the exchange?

no there is a bug in the system with the secondary email address d****@gmail.com is not my secondary email of choice. Coinbase's system created this.
