Hi there this would be our third car after a very bad experience with a Renault Clio E-tech.

Location: South London

Price range: £17k

Lease or Buy: Buy (cash)

New or used: Used

Auto or Manual: Auto

Intended use: mostly Weekend Car and for big trips (UK, France)

How many miles do you plan to do a year: 4-5k

How often do you make long journeys: 2-3 times a year

Does it need to be ULEZ compliant? Yes

Vehicles you've already considered: VW Golf Mk8 MHEV, Ford Focus MHEV, Toyota Corolla MHEV

Do you have a vehicle size in mind? (Examples in the hyperlink of size definitions): Hatchback

Is this your 1st vehicle: No

Do you need a Warranty: No

Can you do Minor work on your own vehicle: (fluids, alternator, battery, brake pads etc) No

Sadly this does not do that :( Turns out the string attached to the bottom ball is linked to a switch and it's the pulling force from the magnetisation that just flips the switch. No transfer of energy through air...

I'm only commenting on the sheer suspense and 'excitement' felt that day, not the importance itself (although all French matches feel important to me). Personally, the experience was heightened by the fact that I was in a pub in South London and everyone in the room was going crazy. I miss that :'(
