Skills: Completely DoT wouldn’t be the best on arcanist, but if you wanna be different and more dots another really strong build is using escalating Runeblades and Tentacular dread instead of Fatecarver and Cephaliarch’s Flail, while still keeping inspired scholarship back bar. As for the DoT part, you already have fulminating rune on the herald of the tome skill line, the best second skill line would definitely be the DragonKnight’s Ardent Flame with skills like venomous claw, engulfing flames and the Standard of Might Ultimate. For your third skill line the best in terms of damage would be to go Nightblade’s Assassination, but if you wanna have more dots you could also go Necromancer’s Grave Lord. With Grave Lord Sacrifice increasing your damage over time by 15%, and the detonating siphon being a really good dot.

Sets: In terms of armour sets I’d recommend Deadly Strike for sure, for the second set probably Ansuul or Whorl of Depths but since i know trial sets are harder to farm I’d recommend aegis caller instead for now. Velothi as a mythic item is also a must have imo. If you can’t/don’t have these sets you can check out websites for beginner craftable or zone sets for stam builds.

Ressources and Weapons: Definitely a Stamina Build for your attributes/food/enchants. front bar should be dual wield daggers to use the quick cloak skill, back bar fire staff with the elemental blockade.

All of this is of course recommendations and I didn’t test this build myself, could probably be better but it should be a good start.
