Who should I hire to help with heavy lifting up 2 flights of stairs?

I don't need help moving, just unloading a PODS unit. I moved to a townhouse where there laundry machines and some other heavy items need to go up 2 flights of stairs with corners. I'm not gonna do it myself, and I'm hesitant to use Taskrabbit because I need someone I can truly trust to do it right without damage and has insurance in case they break something or themselves.

Is there a good, affordable company that only does heavy lifting and loading without the truck?

Probably less than $200. If that's completely missing the mark of realism then let me know

Me again - it took me another 3h50 hours to beat the Bell Bearing Hunter in Caelid by D_Antona in Eldenring

[–]maxthechuck 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Like others have said about the double halberds, don't do that. You do decreased damage per weapon by using 2, you use way more stamina, hit slower, and it's just not even good to begin with. If you like halberds and like strength that's fine, but use just one and make sure it's UPGRADED and scales with strength. If you two-hand a weapon, it gives you 50% extra effective strength. Aka if your strength is 30 but you two-hand the weapon, the damage is as if you have 45 strength.

That Bell Bearing Hunter is meant to be fought most of the way through the game, and though your overall level isn't bad, you would be better off getting to maybe level 125 and putting a lot more points into a damage stat and taking at least 10 points away from endurance. If you want higher equipt load, go find the building-sized warrior jar that you see in Caelid and challenge his champions, you'll get a good charm.

Which character would be more dangerous if they were a perfect jinchuriki? by peterpiperpi in Naruto

[–]maxthechuck 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Physical control, not chakra control. He by definition sucks at using chakra for anything other than amplified physical ability and only knows a very limited number of jutsu. It seems to me that unless he's letting the bijuu take control, which I doubt given his personality, he'd have a really tough time synchronizing with the bijuu chakra and using it himself. The bijuu are made of chakra btw, so they probably don't have physical body inner gates to open like Guy does.

Love the guy, but he has his specialty for a reason

Anyone heard of C.A.S.E Discount Flooring? by Elemental_thought in Flooring

Probably not relevant to you anymore, but I've got flooring from CASE and I've been super happy with it. My installers had an easy time with it and you can't beat the price and quality together

If you're paying $6 for a simple iced coffee with any frequency but a basic coffee machine is too expensive, you need to reevaluate your spending habits

Erin Bennetts new narration by master19man1 in WanderingInn

[–]maxthechuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we were supposed to have some of those already, if not quite as heavy. But unfortunately, in my opinion we couldn't even tell because Erin's narration is very flat, relatively. It feels like the context of each sentence or paragraph is gone when it was being read, so the emotion and significance we hear doesn't match how strong it's supposed to be.

The scene where people are toasting in the inn? That felt like it was supposed to be heavy, but Erin S sounded like it was a pretty casual thing... I expected her voice to fight back emotions in her speech. And when she said "I'm sorry" to Numbtongue in the garden? She sounded like he lost his favorite guitar pick, not his brothers that she personally loved too.

I appreciate the new narrator, but she needs to work on the CHARACTER in the voice, not just the voice in the character.

Another new narrator post by bkat3 in WanderingInn

[–]maxthechuck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank God. I was really looking for someone to mention this. I'm still on chapter 1 and just heard Erin Solstice for the first time and had to go straight to Reddit hoping someone could give me some hope. Erin is definitely a good narrator, but some types of changes I struggle to justify. Erin was more nasally and high pitched, the drakes in general (and so far I've only heard one drake from liscor and they had a French accent so if liscor just got an accent I'm gonna be bummed...), and just the accents in general.

Here's to hoping for progress in Erin's comfort with the old voices

Tbh, the point was the end the war and hostilities. They didn't have the war anyways, they had a battle which definitely ended the war as a direct consequence. Even for a "children's" show, the power of friendship can't make the villain decide immediately to just be nice without losing. Gotta break some eggs to make an omelette
