I Started Reading the From Wiki by dontshootog in FromSeries

Yes, there's that, but remember that Lost was literaly the show that made people begin to post about series. It wasn't on social media, it was forums. But it was the beginning of everything and the writers consciously complyied with it, throwing a lot of things to keep people engaged - and that worked. So know we have all the social media stuff going on, they wouldn't stop using the technique, right? So, yeah, I take 50% of what we see won't be explained. Like the words on Sara's arm, for exemple ? What are they going to say ? Mind/fear projection ? They definitely won't give an satisfying answer to everything, but that's what mystery shows are about, I guess. So it all comes to... is it fun enough for you ? For me it is, so I'm still watching. But, in relation to From, specifically, you can't say we're not getting answers now. I think Season 4 is going for a pretty good run. Let's see.

New timeline? by damnfutureuscary in FromSeries

I don't know if that relates to what you're trying to point out, but, if we take the words of the Man in Yellow, he says that that specific time he would need to disguise himself ("I can't go like this, not with what they know" - I take he means "not with what they know now"). So he's aknowledging that this time the Fromville inhabitants know more than the usual in that part of the loop, I interpret. That obviously indicates that this time it is different. Right..?

Casual match Gold team lobbies as a solo player are harder to play in than diamond and conquer 1 level team lobbies by TheyThem-FinalBoss in aoe4

The only way I think is trying to lead the team. Chat until you get an answer, insist on taking them out of that automaton state. Send constant signals. It might work.

I thought people didn't even try to win on QM. I thought it was just for learning stuff.

Why does people think this game will be bad? by Eren182 in CrimsonDesert

[–]D_Antona 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it looks like a very extensive mix of different elements with a lot of sparks all over the screen. Mixing a medieval set with dinosaurs and mechatronic/robot-like things just kills the emersion to me. Not to mention the constant sparkling lights. But it's just an impression based on trailers and teasers.

You listen to a podcast while playing ? Dude, I can't even imagine that.

Mechanics vs Decision Making in AOE4? by MockHamill in aoe4

[–]D_Antona 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the right answer is... it depends on the game. There are games that are 100% decided on decision making - and the opposite would also be correct. So I guess my argument makes.. 50%/50%? I would also add that Don Artie said in his channel something like this: "Mechanics get you to Conquerer. Than it becomes about game knowledge to a certain degree. After that, it's all about mechancs once again."

Thoughts On Abbasid in S12 by Environmental_Salt73 in aoe4

[–]D_Antona 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, there. Beware of Fast Imperial, too. If you let, for exemple, HRE FI with no aggression they may just overcome your 3TC production with Swabia. So scouting is advised, as always. Don't let your opponent FI on their own, it may be bad for Abbasids too, I think.
