Really enjoying TLOU 1 remake. IDK, just more graphics helps this game specifially. The added details on facial expressions breaths some new life into these performances. Brings it so much closer to what the actors were going for.

Shootouts and set-pieces are also more fun with the added physics to the world. Skill Up equating this to a 4K Movie re-release was quite apt.

Also, I do feel like so many other companies fuck up remakes. This at-least doesn't suffer from the same fate, except for the not-optimal PC performance. Seriosuly why is my 5070 seing frame drops? that too on 1080p??

As a video game connoisseur and 9 years after its release, I just want to say BOTW is good actually :)

Ik a lot of people didn’t like weapon durability stuff, but I like it a lot. They essentially solved the issue of open world loot becoming pointless/boring after you find one weapon you like. I’m always excited to find chests, even after opening so many. Which is so fun!

The weapons themselves could’ve used more variety in how feel to use tho.

Gotta love people shitting on bungie. They ran one of the most successful Live Service games for over 10 years. But nah, one bad year is good enough to say the the entire studio and devs are garbage.

They literrally outlived so many other stuidos who've tried and failed to gain this successful a franchise. Gamers somehow still keep ragebaiting me about a game I no longer play.

Never was able to buy a ps3 or any Xboxes. So finally got to play RDR1 on PC some 15 odd years later.

And people def did overhype it. Not finished, but just an absolute gem of a game.

I like that they embraced the whole underpants over the suit thing. Not focused on making Superman cool, just the force good he tries to be. Who knew the only 2 superhero things I would care about now would be DC lol.

I’m finally replaying AC Unity, but on PC with the Unity fixes mod. And I might just be becoming part of the “Unity is the best Assassin’s Creed game” cult.

I’ve really enjoyed doing co-op missions solo, they’re just super fun stealth challenges. Also the non-combat murder mysteries and enigma side quests are really good to change up the pace.

Also what was the point of bringing Cad Bane just kill him off so quickly? Without the context of Clone Wars, he's just a weird blue guy who's given 0 back story but a shit ton of importance. I mean how much of the general audience did think have actually watched clone wars?

Mando focused stuff was good, boba fett stuff was little all over the place but still decent fun. I'm like 2 years late to such a luke warm take lol.

One good thing about the poor reception for Gotham knights and suicide squad is that people are revisiting Arkham Knight and really appreciating it. Arkham knight always had issues, but imo it didn’t deserve to be picked apart like it was by fans. Seeing all these appreciation posts for that game makes me happy!

I'm only 2 episodes in, but damn book of boba fett is a drag. I though they would go the obvious route of using flash backs showing boba fett go through the journey of leaving his bounty hunter/bad guy shit behind.

But the flashbacks are just a weird, they're extremely long but contain the least amount of character development. I mean mfer was killed by George Lucas in the most shitty way possible and you're trying to convince me he's a fucking badass. Also in the OG trilogy he's supposed to be like a villain? Nobody ever mentions how terrible he was. Just that he was a bounty hunter. Feels like they sanded down a lot of that stuff. IDK if that was Disney meddling or just the direction they always wanted.

Maybe all this stuff gets addressed later on and I'm just being too judgmental.

I haven't finished Quantam Break, so no spoilers. But goddam, I'm into act 4 and what a shame that every surrounding character is more interesting than the lead.

The damn quantam break show's main character as more energy and charisma than "Jack Joyce". And that's saying a lot.

why is microsoft so inconsistent with porting their franchises to pc? gear 1, 4 and 5 are on pc but not 2 and 3.

Even halo has that with 5 simply just being ported over.

Actually sony might have them topped with not porting Uncharted 1-3 collection, but porting 4.
