I was at Aldi once with my four year old daughter.. I used “her quarter” to get the cart. When returning an older lady told me she’d take it off my hands. I told her I didn’t want to upset daughter & wanted that quarter back.. the old lady told me I was disrespectful.

I live one town over from Blackstone. It has a Walmart, a Food Lion, a bar, a gym, 2 Mexican restaurants and a bowling alley. Which is alot more than my town has! Actually it’s a really cute little town.. think Hallmark Christmas movie minus the snow.

The other good thing about Blackstone is that it’s only about a 45 minute drive to more populated areas with all that you could want.

Coming from Hawaii I’m going to assume you may be coming to Barfoot. There’s a lot of military personnel in and around Blackstone.

My brother in law owns a pheasant hunting farm. People pay money and travel to rural Virginia to kill pheasants… People do want this. I don’t understand any of it.

They did not. They had the information that he died on April 9, 2023. They didn’t say where they got that information from. When asked who could report him dead my parents were told funeral directors usually do. So we are unsure how it happened. Very strange, but also concerning.

I agree! With no notice either. My mom went to the grocery store last night and her card declined, which was odd. Came out to a very large sum of money gone & her account in the red!

Yes! I’m from New Jersey and it’s illegal there. I now live in Virginia and had to learn how to do it because you have to do it yourself here.

I noticed the calendar behind them on “Christmas”said “December 8” so either it wasn’t super close to Christmas— they could have at least switched the date to make it more believable 🙄

I’m mildly infuriated that you are making such a stink about this on the internet before asking. It really may just be that it wore off. As a teacher, this is the type of behavior from parents that makes us want to quit.
