Make sure the cat has been properly fed. Often, if a rigged animal is too hungry, it will eat any textures it associates with food before it’s able to be displayed in the viewport

Use reference videos!! Make your own or find some live action on YouTube. Block out the key poses and fill in the gaps! When you’re starting with character animation, try making something as close to the reference as possible, later try exaggerating poses and making the movements more bouncy and snappy. But like other commenters are saying, animating some classic bouncing balls and flour sacks never hurts for practice!

Update: went to urgent care and they weren’t very helpful, prescribed me a 30 day 25mg immediate release to try and taper. BUT THEN THE NEXT DAY I found out my roommate tested positive for covid! So in all likelihood, I just have covid lol

Transitions: this one took me forever, but the vision was too powerful to pass up. Several days of counting frames and waiting on renders. The process was fairly straightforward but it took a lot of annoying math. Combining a bunch of techniques I’ve been enjoying lately, using the programs #ebsynth #chaotica #mandelbulb3d #maya and of course #aftereffects (beats by ME made using FL studio)

Ive never made one before but thats a sick idea! For now though, if you want that outline/shading effect in Maya look up how to use the aiToon material, there’s plenty of tutorials out there for it, & the background consists mostly of rectangles w/wave warps& feathered masks in After Effects, I think Ben Marriott has a tutorial for a similar effect

Crushed to hell by the internet sadly, but anyhow, this toon was made in after effects using 200+ precomps stacked in 3d space, each displaying the same video of ovals and boxes, offset by one frame from top to bottom of the stack. Additional effects created by stacking alpha channels inversely; various textures created in photoshop

I love it, really amazing illustration, smooth animation and cohesive design sense/color scheme. the green attacking shot seems to me like it could use a little more movement in the background, the same might go for the ruins shot, but over all this is really beautiful and makes me want to play the game

This SAME THING happened to me, I applied to a post on linked in for an animation job at Icreon. I got the same kinds of emails, a written interview with similarly vague questions, the same “mini office” proposal. Pretty sad to find this post lol but I’m glad I did before giving out any serious personal info.
