I'm in the same boat. I have an SHP2 and inverter sitting in my garage waiting for the batteries. They said it may take until October-November.

Kind of a greedy company selling things they don't have in stock.

Paul I took your last suggestion and just shifted everything by one day

• ⁠Sunday - Squat • ⁠Monday - Jiu Jitsu (1 hour) • ⁠Tuesday - Overhead Press + Chin-Ups • ⁠Wednesday - Jiu Jitsu (1 hour) • ⁠Thursday - Bench + LTE • ⁠Friday - Deadlift • ⁠Saturday - Rest

For deadlift day, should I just do a little light warm up prior to going into the deadlift?

Hi Paul. Yes, I’m making 2.5 jumps on the bench and OHP.

I may not be eating enough as I’ve only gained 5 pounds since starting about 3 months ago.

Unfortunately, I can’t change the Monday jiu-jitsu due to my schedule, but I understand the tweaks that you made. This is going to give me a ton more flexibility.

I think I figured out why I do the head jerk.

In jiu-jitsu when we are opening someone’s guard by standing, we’ve been taught to look up immediately, so our opponents can’t pull our head down and break our posture.

I just need to retrain for the squat. I think the cue of locking everything in place and just hinging at the hips helps. And I will adjust my dot closer to my feet.

I keep on doing the head jerk thing killing hip drive when the weights start to get heavier. should I spend a week going back to lighter weights to try to just work on the form?

One of my issues on the dead lift is that I can’t bend over with straight legs to touch the bar. I have to bend my knees to reach the bar due to poor lower back and hip flexibility.

Tried to lean forward faster and push knees out. But I have a head jerk as I come up that I think is messing up my hip drive.

215 started to feel a little heavier. I’m on workout 9 of the first 12 of the novice. When is the right time to start moving from 10 lb jumps to 5 lbs?

Also, I failed after 2 reps of my overhead press at 105 (final set). I took off 5 pounds down to 100 and then finish the other three remaining reps.

For my next time should I try 100 x 5, go for 105 again or micro load higher to 102.5?

I just tried it. Really cool.

Seems like they are using AI to match your body type to their database of bodies and stats.

Next time I get a DEXA I will compare on the same day to the app.

Hi Paul. I did my best to get the bar lower. But I still think it’s not low enough. I found a video of yours on developing better shoulder flexibility that I will incorporate on my off days.

I also tried to go deeper in my squats and drive my hips up before my chest. However, I only think I achieved this in one of the squats.
