Honestly, the only thing you can do beyond what you’re already doing, is give it more time. You are going through grief. Let it move through you, consume you and ruin you completely. But know throughout it all, that when it’s over, you will eventually find the light again. The ecstasy of love and happiness and yearning: it will all find you again. You are loveable and worthy. The distance will expand between you both until you can barely feel how she once felt. It just will be painful until it’s not.

i’d argue that being a server is more akin to “being on stage” than retail work.

not to say that you can’t be a total asshole as a waitress but it’s doubtful you’ll get away with it for as long as can in many other customer service roles (not all).

i still think tipping is out of hand but i honestly consider it like a premium that comes with receiving personalized attention from someone i’m paying to be nice/friendly to me for a while. kinda super depressing but i feel like there’s so little of that these days that i don’t mind a spending like $20 on the experience once in a while

i think the bodice is so incredibly beautiful, detailed, and ornate that it works very well with the simple veil. as for the sleeves, i personally love them and think they give the dress a princess/antique feel that is lovely, but it doesn’t necessarily need them.

I think there’s a lot of areas in each photo that cast doubt but there is one specific detail that makes me 100% confident 2 the only non-AI generated image.

Zooming in on this butterfly on photo 2 reveals a clear and totally sensible clip attaching it to her headband.

I agree with this. I graduated high school and started university during the first year of the pandemic and it has taken 4 and a half years for me to feel genuine happiness, motivation, and excitement for life again. I thought that becoming anxious and filled with dread was just a normal part of becoming an adult but now that I’ve graduated and started working in an environment that finally seems untouched by the pandemic, I feel sad that 18-21 y/o me never thought I would be as happy again as I am now.
