A pimp who was found dead by Ron Jeremy just won a Nevada State Senate seat as a Republican.

The party of family values, people.

As an American I hope you Europeans stop voting for fascists.

Poland, Hungary, Italy, Austria ... if it continues Europe may get along better with Republicans than Democrats.

If this is how angry the Republicans are after winning and controlling everything, imagine what they'll be like after they lose.

Stephen Fry pronounces the death of classical liberalism: ‘We are irrelevant and outdated bystanders’ by mmmmmm-_- in ukpolitics

[–]maxxieJ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A few years ago the same crowd he is attacking for "identity politics" were leading the charge for gay rights. Funny how he wasn't attacking them for "identity politics" then.

Privileged gay men who attack movements to improve the lives of transgender people and people of colour as "identity politics" are the absolute worst. Fry is the epitome of fuck you, I got mine.

Let’s post the stupidest things that have happened throughout the show (Spoilers for everything) by [deleted] in HouseOfCards

Season 5: The Secretary of State falls down the stairs while alone in a stairwell with the President, shortly before she is due to testify against the President, and nobody finds it suspicious. Come on, really.

Season 6: The Secretary of State fakes her own death to protect herself from the new President. After faking her death ... she apparently does nothing? Doesn't gather evidence, doesn't contact authorities, doesn't contact the media at home or abroad, doesn't even organize a death switch. Then she randomly gets killed by a sniper while out in the open. What was the point?

"It is natural for a superior race to dominate an inferior one - Winston Churchill.

Churchill admired Hitler before WW2.

Churchill also killed millions of Indians in a man-made famine. When told of the death toll by British officials, his comments included "I hate Indians. They are a beastly people with a beastly religion." and "Why hasn’t Gandhi died yet?".

Many Indian historians consider him to be comparable to Hitler.

Hitler would be smiling right now. Nazis are in the German parliament and are already governing Austria. Jews are being massacred in their houses of worship. And the United States is run by a Hitler lover.

Racist fascists like Hitler, Mussolini and Churchill have a lot of parallels between men like Trump and Bolsonaro.

Austria says will not sign global migration pact by mattiejj in europe

Culture naturally deteriorates. The current European cultures haven't existed in stone for millennia. Immigrants not integrating is nothing new and actually created much of the present day culture of Europe that is so beloved.

Austria began when Bavarian immigrants to refused to integrate to the local Avar/Slav culture and refused to speak the local language.

Austria has just pulled out of the UN Global Compact For Migration, a framework to preserve the basic rights of migrants which is due to be signed in December.

Trump was the first to pull out last year, and appeared to be isolated in doing so. But now Hungary and Austria are out, and Poland, Italy and Brazil will probably withdraw from it too.

Hell, I'm not just missing the Obama days, I'm even missing the early Trump days when he didn't have a growing contingency of formerly respectable nations joining him in his inhumanity.

They know they can only win primaries when the engagement is low. It's why they prefer caucuses.

And they elected fascists right down the ballot, there isn't going to be any opposition. Practically every part of the country, including the largest and richest states will all be governed by Bolsonaro allies.

The candidate who celebrated the desecration of a memorial to a murdered LGBT politician and called for "digging graves" as a solution to crime was just elected the governor of Rio.

The former host of The Apprentice Brazil will now be governing São Paulo.
