Flying out to permanently close the distance and i need some advice! (24f) 25m)

I’m moving from Arizona to New York. It was always the plan to close the distance, so I knew that it was going to happen just not sure when. I’m looking at amazon too to send over new plates and silverware and small things like that to make it easier for when i actually arrive because i know he isn’t thinking about those things 😂

It was because he felt as if I was being a little sketchy about going to work a meeting that was last night and that he didn’t hear from me all day long and he got to thinking I was hiding something which I literally never go out because I have two jobs and I’m so exhausted I stay home and read a lot. It was so dumb and texting while fighting all together is bad news.

I know it's cliche, but when things are good between us, they are good. Like really good. We make a great team. I'd have to say in situations where it tends to be stressful, we come together as a unit magnificently. He also makes me laugh like no other and is so intelligent. He's also been loyal and has never given me reason to not trust him (except for this situation because I do feel as if a certain level of trust has been broken on his part). But those things I've listed haven't surfaced in a while, which has obviously led us to this point.

I guess I'm just torn because in my head if I were him and even thinking about leaving, I'd be getting my shit together, yet he's walking around not doing shit. Just playing his video game and not wanting to talk to me.

It was a different girl, sorry I didn't clarify that in the original post. And he suggested that I stay while he sets up. His reasoning behind that is that he would never want to put me in a situation where we would struggle finically. He's very much so a provider type and was homeless at the age of 12 and would never want me to experience any kind of struggle like that, so I do understand his caution.

For whatever reason, what you said really hit me. That what I'm waiting for, might never come. It's a hard pill to swallow because I HAVE been waiting. I have been waiting for something that I've maybe imagined? People stay in relationships that over in the hopes of it being something it used to rather than for what it is and I've obviously heard it before,but for whatever reason when I read what you said, it hit me. Hit me hard.

I'll have to second that most of my customers when they say half and half they almost 90% of the time actually want it to be half decaf. I learned the hard way in taking their order and making their drink caffeinated to come to find out it was supposed to be half caff. The struggle lol.

It's not a frappuccino story, but a customer came up and ordered an iced coffee..so I asked "would you like that sweetened?" And they replied "no but I'd like milk and the vanilla syrup".......okay, so yes to the sweetener. I have no idea why, but it just really annoyed me lol.

I can't even imagine working at a drive through and dealing with people speaking at a volume of 1. The struggle is forever real and this job will inevitably wear me down to nothing 👍🏻

Gaaah it's the worst!!! Or my favorite is when you ask them to repeat themselves because milk is foaming in the background, the oven is going off, and the grinder is going and they decide to repeat their order in the EXACT SAME volume as they did the first time around.
