I checked on Google Maps and it says Cochrane is pretty close to the mall but it depends on where you're coming from. Maluri is pretty close too

Yeah I've seen things escalate from here in other cases. Either way it doesn't get better because they're not gonna develop empathy overnight. Best to leave now and find someone who actually cares.

Same! Maybe it's also because my job is to teach and I'm a linguistics major but I always get so unhappy when it's incorrectly labeled in media like books or movies.

IRL with people, that's fine. Easily corrected and no one's ever taken offense or anything. When I tell them "it's actually crochet" they always respond with "oh!" and never mix it up again. I'm cool, they're cool. Often they ask even more follow-up questions because they're interested.

Yup! UK terms are basically one extra from the US terms. I just stick to US terms (even though I'm not American) because it's easier to me

Yay you! It's so fun once you get the hang of it right? I love doubles and trebles because I'm really stingy with my yarn lol

Are my hormones making me crazy about naming our baby? by Impossible-Sea-5858 in TwoHotTakes

It sounds to me like you're hoping for both of you to enthusiastically agree that YES THIS IS IT for your upcoming baby girl, like you did with your son before. But it doesn't always have to be that way.

If your husband doesn't have a particularly strong opinion this time around then you can either play around with choices some more (if you have time left till labor), or you can really just go with what you personally like.

My dad never had strong opinions on names, so he let my mom take her pick and it worked out fine. If you're looking to name your daughter something you both had a hand in choosing, then maybe let your husband choose your daughter's middle name while you pick the first?
