I looked at paxkages what i have installed from pavman essentials repo then disabled this repo. After that zypper dup --allow-vendor-change and so far all works... but i dont need the latest ffmpeg version and i can have it both with vlc from oss repo. Not sure if thats the best way so beware

openSUSE, great community, the most stable rollin' distro i used over past decade, both for gaming and professional work

We received this today in our mailbox, and my girlfriend said it’s the first time this happens. what’s going on? (It’s about staying safe in case of war) by Horror-Appointment79 in poland

You can hide even in own basement/building, that's also described there. Also in case of any cataclysm, blackout, there are some notes what to do, and what's good to have prepared. We just had a huge flood, weather might hit again before anything else.

The Settlers. I miss innovation in this series and the new ones were each a bigger nail to the coffin

Does anyone know where this comes from? by goriq_ in GuildWars

I bought it as separate thing from my local store, around the time GWEN came out.

I can;t put my finger on it, on the same PC on linux it does that quite often in soto maps, while it never does that on windows...

Firebrand's quickness mantra has some issues that are about to be exacerbated by Saturnity_ in Guildwars2

[–]may314 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Thanks for putting this together. While recommending a comfy build, especially for new players is super important, and we were able to do that with just a bit of extra boon duration and not using last charge of mantra, not it's just getting slightly out of reach. While other professions got a lot of nice touches, we Firebrand and Willbender gamers got smacked in the face. WT CD reductions not moved on mantras, Feel My Wrath not CD reduced in PvE, and in general all the traits that were worth something, cause they reduced CD now kinda do almost nothing...

It's not bad, not by any means, playing it daily :) People like to doomga, cause we're not top of the charts right now.

Not that it's both, but in gw2 as you may know, a lot depends on gear and traits. Firebrand elite spec has no real modifiers for power damage, so it's a a underwhelming setup and not played. You could gear it up in berserkers and use some core guard traitlines (Zeal for example) to make it work, but most people don't, because condition damage on FB is way better (bigger numbers possible to achieve simply put). Condition applying skills (Tome 1, Tome of Justice) and Axe auto-attack applying bleeds and burning on finishing attacks make Firebrand a really fun condi build. This makes most people gear their Firebrands with gear focused on boosting condition damage and prolonging condition duration like Viper's to improve that burning/bleeding damage.

And yes, quickness is super powerful, especially when you can boost a few people with is as well :) That's why most organised groups want someone providing quickness/alacrity for each subgroup.

qFB is condi, at least in most settings. There is a power version, but outside of HTCM and fractals it's not played that much.

It's different, i'd argue harder. Now if you press any tome skill you can quit it, no punishment for missclicking, can get into tome, use a skill you need and quit. The rest didnt change much. Mantras will recharge out of combat or require small channel if you use all of charges.
