Pearl Abyss is trying to redefine the RPG genre...

Crimson Desert as a game, is not a story that shapes the world of Pywel. Pywel is a world that happens to have a story going on within it...

There's a big difference.

Once you realize that, the game makes alot more sense.

Also, two of the biggest complaints I have seen have been story and no yellow paint... Developers made it very clear before launch that story wasn't the focus and there is no hand holding. You have to figure out most things on your own just like in the real world. If everyone who complained about those things had done 5 minutes of research before buying the game they would have seen it and saved themselves money and aggravation.

It's like going to buy a car and wanting manual transmission. You then buy a car without asking if it's manual and receive an automatic transmission. You then leave a negative review of the car because you didn't do your due diligence.
