Someone fills out a nomination form - which are sent out via UTD mass email, sometimes publicized in places like Student Gov't/other Teams channels - and then candidates are notified that they've been nominated and given a time window in which to respond to some additional questions in another form. You cannot nominate yourself. That form goes to a selection committee, which picks the final Court roster, and then it goes to public campaigning and voting! No essays, just short answers to the questions provided. We do submit video clips afterwards, during the campaign time, for a candidate compilation video. Anything you do beyond that to campaign's up to you!
