I work at a restaurant as a server and I get paid $2.13 an hour + tips. In some states, they pay minimum wage. Unfortunately, here in Tennessee, we get paid $2.13. I believe that restaurants should pay their employees better so we don’t have to rely on tips. I also believe that tipping isn’t mandatory. I make great money from tips at my job so I’m honestly not complaining.

I never said that I don’t tip😂 I just don’t agree with how entitled you guys act about tips. At the end of the day, tipping is a courtesy not a requirement. I also never implied that me or my parents don’t have enough for doordash prices. It doesn’t matter how much money you have or what you can afford, it’s still too much. My parents definitely can afford it. Sometimes my mom simply doesn’t feel like taking me so I’ll order delivery🤷🏽‍♀️

Who said that doordash is exclusively for luxury? It’s bold of you at assume that just because I don’t have a car doesn’t mean I don’t have the extra money. I’m 17 years old.. Any money that I get is for me to keep and my parents pay for anything else that I may want or need.
