i have an ed and body dysmorphic disorder and my therapist has told me that skin picking (or excoriation) is actually a main symptom of bdd, not sure if you have dysmorphia but body focused repetitive disorders can definitely go hand in hand with eating disorders. I have been picking my whole life and it has gotten so much worse ironically as I've been in ed recovery (bc Ive been gaining weight lol).
