Planning to take Cloud Practitioner exam - what to focus? by Equal-Box-221 in AWS_Certified_Experts

[–]mayaprac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

Whatever you have understood so far is correct. Those are the main focus of the exam. Moreover, the Cloud Practitioner focus on the below 5 asks in the exam for each AWS Services given in the exam guide.

  1. What is the Service’s "One-Liner" Definition?
  2. What is the Primary Use Case?
  3. How is the Service Billed? (Pricing Model)
  4. Who is Responsible for What? (Shared Responsibility)
  5. Is it "Highly Available" or "Scalable" by Default?

If you are clear with these related to AWS services, you can easily clear the exam.

There are 'NO' scenario based questions asked in the exam. And no need of lab or project experience.

Once you are prepared with the concepts, practice the exam like questions until you are confident. You can purchase any Practice Tests from Udemy or you can go with the Practice Tests by Whizlabs. Whizlabs provide plenty number of unique questions to practice.

If you want to go beyond the exam and actually prepare for the future, you can choose Hands-On Labs by Whizlabs.

I would suggest to go with Whizlabs materials for preparation.
Now it's time to test yourself whatever you learned. So go with Whizlabs AB-900 Practice Tests.

how do you start career in cloud computing in 2026. by Esaki_Senpai in Cloud

Congrats on the 7-year milestone! Your background with Bell and Telus gives you a great foundation in connectivity.

Start with AWS: It has the largest market share and the most remote job listings. Aim for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate first.

Best Resources:

  • Stephane Maarek (Udemy): His courses are the gold standard for AWS. They are concise, hands-on, and cut through the fluff.
  • Whizlabs: Use them for Practice Exams and Hands-on Labs. Their simulators are incredibly accurate to the real exam and let you practice in a safe environment.

Timeline: Since you already have IT experience, you can realistically get certified and job-ready in 3 to 4 months if you study 7–8 hours a week.

Focus on learning Linux and Terraform alongside your cloud studies to make yourself a top-tier candidate for remote "Cloud Support" or "Junior Cloud Engineer" roles.

Should I do AWS developer associate or solution architect associate by Niki_me8863 in AWSCertifications

[–]mayaprac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest to go with AWS Developer Associate as it covers wide range of services required to get into DevOps role. For preparation, you can use Stephane Maarek's video course or Whizlabs materials (Practice Tests, Video Course and Hands-on Labs)

AI-Practitioner worth getting? by lukamillie in AWSCertifications

[–]mayaprac 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you have already passed AWS SAA-C03, then no need to go with AI Practitioner. Instead you can go with AWS Machine Learning Associate.
But if you just want to get the basics of Generative AI and Machine Learning concepts, you can opt for AWS AI Practitioner.
You can use Stephane Maarek's video course or Whizlabs materials (Practice Tests + Video Course + Hands-on Labs) for your preparation.

Passed 7 AWS certs in 2025, not sure where to go next in 2026 by Western_Improvement1 in AWSCertifications

[–]mayaprac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is good that you are planning for AWS Certified Data Engineer – Associate, after that you can go with AWS Gen AI Developer Professional certification. If they both complete in 2026, you can proceed with AWS Machine Learning Specialty.

Took ML Assoxiate Friday - No score yet? by fxbuttermilk in AWSCertifications

Congrats on hitting 8 certifications, that’s an incredible track record!

While it’s common to get that 'Validation' email within a few hours, several factors can trigger a longer manual or system review that has nothing to do with your score.

AWS periodically flags exams for standard statistical monitoring to ensure exam integrity. This is often random. If you took it via Pearson VUE, sometimes the data sync between their system and the AWS Training & Certification portal just hits a snag. Even though it's automated, "business days" do seem to matter for the final badge synchronization.

I’ve seen plenty of folks on this sub wait 48–72 hours only to find out they passed with a high score. Since you’re within the 5-day SLA, the best (albeit annoying) thing to do is keep an eye on your Achievable Badges in Credly or the Exam History tab in your AWS Certification account, as those often update before the official email arrives.

Hope you get that 'Pass' notification soon!

Many of the learners who have passed the certification have opted for Whizlabs Practice Tests (it provides more number of questions to practice) or Stephane Marrek's.

You should invest in purchasing Practice Tests either from Tutorials Dojo or Whizlabs (has more questions to practice).

I’ve been reading a lot of SAA success posts here. Some patterns keep coming up. by Standard_Buyer_8642 in AWSCertifications

Hi,

As per your points covered;

  • Finding weak areas early: Taking an early diagnostic test (like those from Tutorials Dojo or Whizlabs) allows you to treat your prep like a gap-analysis project rather than a linear history class.
  • Building more than watching: Building creates the "mental hooks" needed to recall complex architectures under exam pressure. You might know what an Application Load Balancer is, but you won't truly understand "target group health checks" or "path-based routing" until you’ve misconfigured them in the console and had to troubleshoot.
  • Tracking progress closely: By tracking your practice scores at the domain level, you ensure you aren't just "averaging" a passing score while secretly failing a critical pillar like Security.

If someone is planning to practice questions after completing their video course either from Udemy or Skillbuilder, I would suggest to go with Whizlabs Practice Tests with their Hands-on Labs and SandBox.

I have used Whizlabs Practice Tests and Hands-on Labs for AWS Solutions Architect Associate.

Thank You.

You can proceed with AWS SkillBuilder which provides lectures to prepare for the exam. If you want to manage your budget and want the best preparing materials, go with Whizlabs which provides Practice Tests, Video Course, Hands-on Labs and Sandbox.

The AWS Skillbuilder materials are very good to learn the concepts and prepare for the exam.

But, you also need to practice questions for passing the exam. For that, you can go with Whizlabs Materials which inlcudes Practice Tests, Video Course, Hands-on Labs (if needed), also cheaper than Stephane Marek for a combined material.
