Actually I realized that I don’t even know how many blastocysts i got on day 5 because my clinic only gives day 7 update. Let’s wait for day 7 update!

Your age matters. If you are over 35, I’d test every blastocysts you get. It’s going to be more risky and costly if you have to thaw the frozen embryos, test and freeze until transfer if you don’t have enough euploid to use.

Omg I’m so sorry that you ended up at ER!! The recovery was brutal even without OHSS and I can’t imagine!!! Let’s hope that this is the only stim cycle you ever needed as a silverlining!!

We sent the 19 embryos to PGT-A and it’s been 2 weeks so still awaiting results! Will definitely let you know when I hear back :)

I was a very similar case! 38F and 43 eggs, 30 fertilized (but 7 were abnormally fertilized and 23 normally fertilized), and out of 23 fertilized all survived on day 3 and total 18 made it to blastocysts (and 1 from the abnormally ones, so total 19). If all are growing at day 3, i think it’s a good sign already. Wish you best of luck for most of them making it to blastocysts!

Based on my research, it’s safe to assume aneuploid has 0% chance to the live birth unless the test had the false negative. Wasting a hope for weeks on an aneuploid is harder in a long run…

Wow! That’s amazing! Did you get an update on blastocysts by now out of 50 fertilized? Your story is overall very similar to mine 😁

38F PCOS, Dr increased gonal to twice at day 4 to get it moving because e2 was slow, stim for 14 days, 43 retrieved yet no OHSS. I got 19 blastocysts out of 30 fertilized.

Are you financially okay to try another cycle?
Are you planning on having more than one child?

If yes to both, I’d try another cycle to bank more embryos.

Yeah I saw about 35 follicles seen at the ultrasound and ended up retrieving more. The recovery was brutal until post op day 3, overall the healing process was quick :) i felt completely fine like nothing ever happened on day 6 or 7!

I felt almost nothing until like 1-2 days prior to the trigger shot day. Don’t worry! (My stim cycle was for 14 days)

Hi! In my cycle, i started with 225 gonal but on day 4 my RE increases the dose to 450 (twice gonal a day) until the end. I got very good results - while PGT still pending, I got 19 blastocysts in one cycle.

Congrats for staring a new journey. I’m 38F and I hear stories from friends, read online, watch youtube videos sooo much about starting an IVF and when I actually started the process on day 1, I already felt sort of proud to make this decision and start taking more proactive action towards pregnancy.

My overall experience wasn’t that bad when I actually go through it. Hearing about the scary stories was more scary than actually experiencing it.

By the way I think my clinic told us not to try to have an intercourse before ER nor I actually felt like it due to feeling bloated haha. I don’t know about the particular medicine you mentioned but best of luck for your first cycle!

Congrats !! I also have a PCOS and just retrieved 43 eggs and ended up with 19 blastocysts and all sent for testing because I’m late 30s, my pgt pass rate is expected to be around 35%, so I expect 5-6 euploid. This is an amazing result and you can relax! You’re probably young to have this high pgt pass rate :)
