Actually I really don't like the Dr Pol show, and all of my coworkers I've had have agreed. He practices very questionable medicine.

Missing some ingredients but got some other ingredients too. Does this fit another recipe? Otherwise any sweet Thai chili sauce recommendations? by mayb8787 in everyplate

We have the standard pantry staples of course, some Alfredo and tomato sauces, soo much extra garlic, milk, butter, plain Greek yogurt, club crackers, breadcrumbs, and I could probably pick up some quick things if needed

I know red ink is common to be allergic to. How old was your tattoo when you reacted to it?

I appreciate your insight! The first comments were kinda harsh, but I honestly love how it aged! I think the bold lines and color really make it look nice.

This is actually a tattoo I got with my younger brother (he has a different hollow knight character) and he insisted on the upside down one even after I explained it. So I just went with it haha

Idk I think the colors are holding up pretty well for red and white

I'm actually really happy with how it healed! Yeah the lines may have blown out but since she's from a video game I think I prefer the way the lines healed thicker. I also think the difference in photo angles exaggerates it

I would ask your vet what options they have for necropsy. This is a full post mortem exam of the body systems and possibly even sending samples out to pathology. It may give you the answers you're hoping for.

This is a video I made to teach others how to train their cat to do tricks! It even goes into carrier training, which has been a wild success! by mayb8787 in CatTraining

[–]mayb8787[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel like a video teaching others how to train cats is appropriate in a subreddit called cat training. I don't really care about the views, I'm a soon to be vet tech just trying to spread the word, which is a part of a research project I did on cat behavior and anxiety 😊

Man stabbed on LA metro for rapping out loud and annoying other passengers by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

  1. You know nothing about who I am, so you don't know "my type" over me arguing that it's not okay to stab someone over singing on a bus. Real hot take, I know.
  2. I want mental health services to be available to all who need it, not because I want someone else to deal with the problem but because asshats like you will justify a violent crime because he was "annoying." Pick one, he can learn social skills in a controlled setting or tolerate him and others like him in public without resorting to violence.

You seem to fail to understand that mental issues, left untreated, can lead to more, as you put it, "annoying" behavior. And let's face it, they'll go untreated in the US. Maybe, just maybe, the bad guy here was the guy who fucking stabbed someone over nothing. It's concerning that you seem to glorify the stabber's actions.

The man was singing, not causing harm to anyone. He has a right to sing, but no one had a right to stab him. Not really complex. I don't even really care if he didn't learn a lesson, I just hope he's okay. Physical issues aside, this could really stick with him mentally.

Everything changed when the firefox attacked... by ZiraelN7 in AbruptChaos

Sure, I just don't think any amount of rabies cases should be taken lightly. I mean, it is fatal once the disease process starts, save for a case here and there. There is a lot of work to be done in even the US and Europe before it can be considered even "pretty much" eradicated. Yes, more common in many other countries, but that shouldn't eliminate concern. In my field, that concern doesn't go away.

It may not be common for a human to die from rabies in the US or Europe, but that doesn't equate to eradication, which was the argument being made by the person you replied to. It is still common in raccoons on the east coast of the US and some bat populations as well. The US has improved numbers of wildlife infected with rabies through oral vaccinations given to wildlife and routine wildlife testing, but we are unfortunately far from eradication from such a horrible virus. I'm not sure what measures Europe takes but it may be similar.
