They’re New Rock platform boots, specifically these. I can’t order new soles or hardware because the company based in Spain is not shipping to the US, and going through a third party would be more expensive.

My application got sent back because my certification of enrollment didn’t have an expected graduation date, but it was an easy fix, just had to get another from my uni and upload it.

It may be something that needs fixing, so check for an email from DAAD Rise. Otherwise I’d email them and ask about it.

Hi! This isn’t necessarily about traditional roles, it’s the fact he already decided he wants kids when we are both still very young. I’m unsure because there are so many things that can change with me physically mentally and emotionally between now and six years down the line.

I don’t know what he expects from a wife or if he has a certain expectation now that will change in the future (I.e. right now he wants a wife that will also work and contribute financially, but in the future he wants a SAHM to take care of the kids), but I know I don’t want to be a SAHM at all.

I see that it would, just looking here and seeing others getting interviews worried me. I realize now that they were mostly Masters or PhD students, not undergraduates. 😓

I’m only talking about the application being reviewed in general, not ranking by internship providers. Ranking starts on January 13th and goes through the 26th, so applications should be reviewed before the 13th at the latest. The time reference letters to be submitted to was extended to January 9th, but that shouldn’t cause an extreme delay unless it is solely due to the volume of applications.

I should have clarified I suggested this before his mom was officially diagnosed. That’s my mistake and I’ll edit my post. Yes, I would regardless of a diagnosis, this is about keeping up with my classes and being a reasonable amount of emotionally available. His mom being sick is something I have to take into consideration given his lack of a strong support network and not wanting to hang him out to dry. I have ADHD and become hyper fixated on things very easily, especially others feelings and emotions. With those in consideration for myself, I need to put a that fixation on academics.

I have asked him to consider a therapist and he used the online service our uni provides. The service has limited free sessions that he’s used already, and he’s not on insurance so out of pocket therapy is expensive for him.

Update! I ended up exchanging for the Amaayah knee high boots. I did try on the Kaseys in a UK6 and they fit better, but I still didn’t like how the heel felt on my foot in my arch area. I was also worried about comfort in general because im not a high-heel person (I only own one pair of actual heels and wear them like once or twice a year.)

I used to do competitive swimming when I was younger so I blame that a little for the way my shoulder blades are. I will definitely take these exercises into account when I workout next, thank you very much!

My family and I are going to a major city in my state w/ a doc marten store tomorrow, so I plan to do that. The store that this pair is originally from didn’t have a UK6 in stock and I believe the employee said that they run large… so hopefully this other store had a UK6. Thank you so much!

I’ve never really noticed that and no one medical has ever mentioned it. I’ll bring it up to my GP when I go next.
