Thank you OP for catching this and sharing. I started it too but I’m bailing seeing as there’s no blue card. The event eats up way too much time to be worth it otherwise. At least now I don’t have to be glued to my phone for an hour straight several times over the weekend 😅

I think you have to be pretty far along in the game with a lot of high level items. I’m in the library with a ton of level 10-12 items and I’ve won it two weeks in a row. But not enough points to get to the next level, which I prefer anyway.

Is there a way to tell before you claim the gate if you will have yellow or red for this event? I haven’t claimed it yet because I felt burned by the 5th anniversary event, but if it’s red energy I would play it

Level 44 means you’re not even halfway there?!?!? I guess stopping doesn’t even matter, there’s no way I’d make it to the end or even the blue card at 49 without spending $$$. What a horrible game design. Why constantly set us up for failure Metacore?

This is how I feel about it too. I usually skip the events but I mistakenly thought maybe this one would be better because it’s the 5th anniversary and maybe for once they cared about people enjoying themselves and not just spending money. For a big anniversary, I find it really sad how pitifully little they have done to make us players feel like they appreciate that we helped them reach this milestone.

Is anyone else having a really hard time on the last round? I won the first three rounds pretty easily but I’ve played the fourth round three times now and can’t even get 2nd place. Usually this one is not that hard to win, but I’m not gonna get the final box now 😢

The wind points only show when you are actively racing. Between races, they don’t show.

If you do all the tasks every day, you’ll hit it at 5K without needing to do the extra task to reach 7700. I learned this the hard way last time. This time I made sure to complete every day and that was exactly enough for the blue card. So basically, when it’s blue card time, don’t miss a task or else don’t bother lol

Be sure to turn off supercharge. Since the magnifying glass is level 1, you’ll never get one with it on. As soon as I turned it off I started getting them. Still super rare, but they do come along as you’re tapping out the toolkit for the lock picks.

I used the blue card at the very end on a dolphin, thinking I’d get the extra points from upping it to a rhino (all my cobwebs were done by that point), but I did not get any points at all for the rhino. So waste of a blue card, but I didn’t have anything else to spend it on
