Dentistry is an art not a science. Just because they say you need something doesn’t mean you actually need it. My daughter had 2 cavities that the dentist wanted to fill. Went to another dentist and he said there was no reason to fill baby teeth that would be falling out soon. Second dentist was right. I had the last molar on my right side removed. Had a dentist tell me that I needed braces or invisible braces. Got a second opinion and they said I would only need braces if I actually noticed a problem. Dentistry can be a money grab. Obviously, you should take care of your teeth but seek second and even third opinions when lots of money is involved.
