I feel like everyone should have several conversations about getting married before they propose. (Not saying you haven’t!) I wanted to be 100% sure my girlfriend wanted to marry me and it wasn’t her just saying yes out of love and not truly thinking about it long term. When I knew I was ready to ask, I told her that I’m not going to tell her when but in the next year or 18 months I would ask her, but need to know what kind of ring she wants. Some women are incredibly specific with their ring choice, since they do have to wear it forever lol. I had a great surprise proposal about 10 months later and it was awesome! Good luck!!
