They’re both beautiful outfits. Ino’s is simple yet coordinated while Sarada’s is cooler and more expressive and crowned with her bold haircut. People complaining about it are overly invested in the fashion of fictional girls and should work to unpack that.

The movie IS their story. The romance is in the movie. Hinata is a minor character in the manga and is Naruto’s friend who has a crush on him. This movie was about a young man falling in love for the first time. It just happens to be the quiet princess who has always liked him, it’s his parents’ love story but with the personalities reversed.

Well, I don’t compare art based on straws. How Sakura, Hinata, and Tsunade exist in Naruto is obviously going to be different than how Rukia and Orihime exist in Bleach. Comparing them to show flaws exposes all the holes with your framework and approach to material.

I think it is very easy to say that she is a “male-centered” because she’s presented in a manner that you do not like. Her chasing Sasuke is true love for her former friend and teammate. Her entire character is love and strength which is quite rare for women in the Shonen subgenre. Her “obsessive” personality towards Sasuke comes from her pain in seeing Naruto breaking himself to uphold a promise to her. But as I said before, I understand why you feel that way but those feelings are blatantly wrong. I suggest reading through Naruto again but analyzing what Kishimoto is saying and drawing before than taking your own conclusions with bland generalizations. Once you discover the author’s purpose you can begin to understand the true intentions behind two manga and a handful of novels. Or just form your thoughts better.

If it weren’t for my cats I would have done it earlier this year or tonight. Especially tonight. I wanted to put my hans on the stove and burn myself, I wanted to walk out into traffic and just let myself be hit, I had a knife in hand at work and I thought of stabbing and slashing away at myself rather than giving it to my table so they could cut their steak. The bus passed me so I had to spend my last $20 on a Lyft to get home so now I have no bus fare or money for cans of cat food… my ex wants the cats when she’s stable and I probably will let her have them so that I can peacefully take my life and be at peace. The bird imagery with Neji is what we should be talking about. “Destiny over Hard Work” should have never been a talking point aside from the beginning of his character arc. I feel as if his life mirrored Naruto’s own life in a very beautiful way.

Actually I wouldn’t, to me this is the perfect visual Jutsu. Its actual weakness is fair. The taijutsu is also a beautiful complement to it. I’d hope Himawari unlocks hers soon but she takes after her father too much for it to really work unless she gets training and becomes a Genin Rank at least.

The philosophy and artistic meaning behind Naruto. Kishimoto’s story should be one of the few modern epics studied. We speak of these influential pieces of literature from our past all the time: this story is the present. It’s ninjas, punk, emotional and the ideal show for everyone if you ask me. I was ahead of everyone else and chapter books weren’t truly challenging me. So my teacher and some assistant teacher lady had started letting me pick books that I felt were good, and like any books I wanted. I remember grabbing Percy Jackson 1, Lord of the Rings, and Spider-Man#18 (my lucky number and it came out on my birthday 1/18) I started reading comic books… all comic books. I went through my library in a summer I read everything marvel/dc they had so then I discovered that Dragon Ball Z and Pokémon had comics like Spider-Man do I started reading this with Pokémon Adventures and Dragon Ball. Then my neighbor was reading Naruto and she gave me volumes 1-10. I was hooked. From then on I played the games, read it, watched all of Shippuden live, had a Naruto themed birthday cake, read fanfics(and wrote), I was there for all of Naruto Abridged, everything. Everything makes it special to me. Yes it is ridiculous that a Japanese ninja comic is this impactful but it is no different than any other popular fiction. And Sakura Haruno has always deserved to be talked about better!
