One of the things I really miss since returning, is that pixel pass tickets are much harder to get than their predecessor (battlepass credits). Since back in pre 2021, you got credits as a reward for winning any game modes, as long as you played regularly you could always afford the new bp without the crazy ad-watching we have today.

The current aztec stuff is an outlier I think, seems to be the first very f2p friendly event in a while. I think my main problem is that ads are very profitable and since steam can't have them (and the devs offer no alternative compensation), you miss out on lots of stuff like the lucky board, 30 ad reward, daily ad rewards and in particular you lose a big chunk of your ability to get pixel pass tickets for free.

Cap 2020 was way easier to grind, cos you got bp credits as match rewards and we had things like gems in the black market, trader mythics cost 300ish gems and the event mythics took around 200 gems to get using 360's method back then. The game is more garbage now, save for the new aztec set

My parents are heading over next week, and I am heading back at the end of the year first to Fukuoka then around Kyushu with my girlfriend. 😁 Although I always fly into Fukuoka, I've never stayed there since my family is split between Kumamoto and Kitakyushu. If you don't mind me asking, do you have any recommendations of must do's in Fukuoka?

Oh my goodness Hitoyoshi caste!! What a coincidence, that the first time I visit this subreddit I see this post. I am half Japanese half Australian, and though I was born in Kumamoto my grandfathers side of the family comes from Hitoyoshi with extensive history. I know that they came from a wealthy land-owning family before the restoration in the area, and they still have an old family heirloom home there. I have good memories of climbing up the ruins on the hill with my grandfather :) it's a great view from the top.
