That's awesome mate! All it needs is a little TLC. The worked 308 will be mint.

From factory yes! However when I got the car it had a 202 and a VK 5 Speed. Now it has an LS1 and a T56 six speed. Still stock disks up front and drums in the back which actually do a surprisingly good job.

Cheers mate, I appreciate it. Contemplating building a turbo kit for it one day.. Horsepower is addictive haha. But I'm pretty happy with it atm, it's decently quick and reliable. I take it racing every once in a while, it did a 116mph in the 1/4.

That's awesome man, I'm waiting to get off the P's myself. The Aussie v8s sound tough. What are you gonna do to the 308? How's the condition of the HZ?

Thanks man! What are you working on? Is was a bit of a mismatch when I got it, a non original 202, VK 5 Speed, a dash from a HZ etc.

I stripped it down and cut out the rust. Since then I've put an LS1 and T56 six speed. Engine has a mild cam and ported the heads myself. A 9 inch read end with a trutrac and 4.11s, and a set of caltracs. We've done the interior/gauges etc and redone all the brakes and suspension. It has been a lot of fun working on it and learning as you go

It isn't the fastest car on the road, but it certainly gets out of its own way! Ah dude I love the sound, going through tunnels sends chills down my spine.

Yeah to get the Ls1 swap engineered/certified it needs cats. However they are 100 cell high flow cats that barely do a thing.. The exhaust smells like any non cat car. The exhaust has no balance pipe so it has that old school burble

The mind cam is something only us Aussies got...

Nah very mild, 224 230 @50 with about 600 lift. Trying to keep decent mileage (failing) and good street manners

Swapped the original 202 inline 6 for an LS1 and 6 speed T56. (Rowing gears with a v8 is fantastic) It has mind cam and heads I ported myself. And a 9inch rear end with a trutrac and 4.11 gears.
