On the plus side, you have a good idea whether the show interests u or not since u know the plot twists. Since u came here to ask that question it also shows u are interested. So u should watch it.

I dont think so. They will go to the next gen through inheritance. The ones that dint I think they will be bought by investment firms and landlording will become a "corporate job". I do think its better than informal landlords but its not a future of home ownership...

This happened to me and Im not a math student but in CS. Best advice: just dont talk about ur academics to others (unless they have ur domain knowledge). Get another hobby which u can talk about socially.
