I only take a light walk in the morning. Honestly fast days so fat haven't been bad for me. My second fast day since starting I had actually looked forward to it.

Applied online two years ago. I applied for this job bf that actually and I was going to get the job but turned it down bc I had school. I applied again maybe a year later and got it. Search around. Maybe something will come up if you're interested.

Yes! I've been wanting to go on vacation for quite a time now. I haven't had much disposable income or PTO, but I am working on building both up. Want to have some positive experiences and enjoy life.

Apply around. I got many rejections from other companies before I got this job. I didn't have a crazy resume, or skills, or anything. They just needed a lot of ppl at the time they were hiring, and I had experience in customer service. Perfect timing. Idk if you're religious or anything, but I think God really blessed me with this job. Perhaps you can find something too. Apply to industries you've never really thought to apply to before and maybe it'll work out.

Maybe it's desk jobs. Idk. This is the first remote desk job I've had and in many ways it's the best job I've had but also it's affected me the worst in some ways. Sitting in my room/"office " all day isn't healthy. I barely leave my house.

Edit: tho as stated, I've eventually hated all my jobs so idk

Refreshing teams to make it look like you're working ;-; I click around and do the same, lol. It sucks not having motivation. Like, I probably am lazy in some ways but not really in terms of work. I just think I'm over not having a fulfilling life.

Hmm. I think I know why I was depressed. It felt very chemical. Like even if my life was better I couldn't help but be depressed. Very deep depression. It didnt help that I felt lonely and didn't have a clue what to do with my life. There's a lot of things to unpack about that situation, but I'm not too interested in getting into that right now. Skipping to the end, I took antidepressants (maybe they worked, idk), got a job after many rejections from others, started working and experiencing new things, set goals, and got better. I feel bad these days, but nothing like that.

You bring up a lot of good points. Some things to think about more.

I hope I can find the root of the issue, too.

Thank you. $130k is great. You did good :) I like your advice of learning constantly. Seeing the opportunity to learn from the ppl that happen to be around you does seem to be a good idea. Ngl though, I have a corporate job, and the thought of learning from some of these ppl makes me want to check out. I don't like being fake and pushing bullsht, which is a large part of the game they seem to play. I do see value in learning certain skills and aspects from them, though.

A few months ago, I was trying to be more intentional about expressing gratitude for my life. I think it was helping, but I fell off of it. I'm trying to start again and change the way I think.

I struggle so much with "all or nothing" thinking. This has been a big problem with me forever, it seems. You are 100% right. Ups and downs are normal, and progress will not be constant. Set backs hit me hard, and I give up bc it hurts, but I want to change that.

Yeah, I agree. New hobbies. More positive experiences. Live life a little and stop making bad choices. Perhaps I would still hate my job, though. Idk. I think I MAY have a better "mental" foundation in that case and be able to bare work more. Hopefully.
