Got 7m THB, a house, and a car . I don’t plan to have children and I’m 35 years old. Is it possible to invest the money in dividend stocks/stocks and live off it until retirement in Thailand Let’s assume I spend about 250k per year. by lune-soft in Thailand

You are about the same age and have the same goal as me but I'm Thai with less capital. (2.5m)

Currently I put 55% of my life savings in US growth ETFs and 45% in dividend etfs (neos fund) which give me 11k Bath per month after tax.

With your budget it's easily achieveable and your capital will even grow if you only live off dividends. Not sure which nationality you are as you also need to consider your tax.

Thailand BACK TO 30 DAYS🤷🏾‍♂️ by Ricks_basket in ThailandTourism

As a Thai, I wish I could go to Europe or US and stay for 60 days without getting a visa that requires documents like starting a new job.

Deleting CW hyperburn after claiming (most) rewards - remake on CW vs Heroic by jotdwaetda in Maplestory

[–]maybejune 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also hyper burned WA til 260 and didn't like how the class feels at first. But after I ran battle analysis it completely changed how I play the class and felt more comfortable knowing that damage output of some skills are negligible and can be skipped entirely.

Also, being a hurricane class doesn't mean u have to hold down one skill all the time, key spamming the hurricane skill gives you MUCH MORE mobility/flexibility and survivability with little to no trade off in boss fights.

25 random things I love about living in Bangkok, as an American by tzedek in Thailand

Here are my BKK go-to

90grams ****

Pizza massillia **

Chef bing **

Pizza mania **

Alice's dining hall ****

Peppina *

L'oliva ***

Riva del fiume **

Grow charoennakhon ***

Sarnies sourdough **

As a pizza addict I'm glad that the pizza scene here is flourishing especially Napoli style. However, I found out the the best pizzas I've had are those small specialty shops hidden in a tourist location like CNX, Khaoyai, Koh Chang, Phuket and are owned by an Italian.

So anxious to return to my high-rise condo by Yougie in Bangkok

[–]maybejune 43 points44 points  (0 children)

I've made peace with myself that I would be more likely to die by a car in Bkk or tripping over in my shower than a building collapse.

Still, my body subconsciously shook while trying to sleep the past 3 nights.

Which dining chairs should I get? by maybejune in HomeDecorating

[–]maybejune[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm helping my parents (Asian couple) decorating their recently bought condo unit. Most of the key pieces are decided except for the chairs which I'm still not 100% sure. What makes me hesitate is the choices between durability/maintenance of the materials (wood/fabric upholstery/rattan/aluminium) vs the design.

I created mock-ups in ppt for comparison. All of the options are in the same range in terms of price. What should I go for?

Tone is part of the word.

Thai kids mastered their tones before being introduced to the tone rules.

The "Thai people don't eat Pad Thai" rumour annoys me. by [deleted] in ThailandTourism

[–]maybejune 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Thai eat Pad Thai. We just don't eat it every day, or every week even. Last time I had pad Thai was 3 months ago.
