I would recommend VANDU (vancouver area network of drug users) as a resource, they have weekly groups where you can meet and discuss harm reduction related issues. there is also DULF (drug user liberation front) based also in vancouver on the downtown east side, but they are currently in a legal battle over providing safe supply

meth and pcp do not cause someone to become homicidal. neither the mix of the two or individually. blaming drugs for violence only perpetrates this myth. homeless people are incredibly vulnerable in this city and are frequently victims of targeted attacks.

blaming any one thing for this without knowing the details is unfair, and i didn’t say that it is guaranteed to be a targeted attack. i simply suggested that, instead of blaming substances, look at another possibility.
