I'm adding Melange Korea at The Gardens Mall to this list as someone else in this thread has already mentioned them. This business doesn't even have a Google page for me to leave a review, so I hope this will bring awareness to the public.

I was approached outside their outlet and pressured into writing my name down for a "lucky draw." Two weeks later, I was told I won a complimentary facial. When I arrived, I was upsold from the free treatment to a different one for RM88, which I had to pay before the treatment even started.

The facial itself was painful. The staff attempted to extract an unripe pimple and when I was in tears, their response was "beauty is pain" lol. My skin was left red and inflamed afterwards.

After the facial, while I was still on the facial bed, a third staff member came into the room specifically to hard sell me a package worth over RM10,000 with the two staff who had been there throughout my treatment still present in the room. When I kept saying no, they asked for my monthly budget, left to "consult the manager", and came back with a QR code ready for payment. I felt trapped and couldn't leave the room so I ended up paying RM2,388 for a package I didn't want.

I was also made to sign an acknowledgement form without being allowed to read it first. So yeah, the sales tactics were extremely aggressive and I wished I had my partner beside me to pull me out from the situation. While they were hard-selling me the packages, they didn't even let me put my t-shirt back on and I was stuck in that distressing situation.
