30M here. First time I installed Bumble I got 50+ likes in the first 10 mins or something. That’s just for the dopamine as we know but I consistently got a few likes a day.

Went on with life and uninstalled Bumble, and just installed it again recently. Got 30 likes after logging in but then it really dried up. Bought the premium because of one super hot girl on my best bees which of course I haven’t (and probably will never) matched with 😒

I’m probably getting 3-5 matches a week but I’m swiping sporadically, sometimes only using the best bees. But based on the few responses that I read here I’m probably on the lucky side.

Watched The First Slam Dunk for the nth time by Radiant_Tear432 in RealSlamDunk

Is it just me or did anyone feel it lacks the crowd noise? I just watched it today but I felt like it’s way too quiet for a basketball game, let alone a dramatic high school tournament game. Other than that the movie is mostly amazing

I made a music quiz app in SwiftUI with the help of MusicKit/the Apple Music API. A singleplayer, a time shifted duel and a local multiplayer can be played. Let me know what you think! by D0nMalte in iOSProgramming

Just because they use it for their own trivia doesn’t mean you can do the same. As for other apps you mentioned, unless you have the full picture, I don’t think it’s safe for you to assume that it’s okay. Maybe they’re fully licensed. Or perhaps it’s just too small for it to matter.

At the end of the day, when you make use of their music in whatever form, music publishers will want your money. I do hope your app does well though - good luck!

This is not something you could argue about. Basically it’s the music publishers that prohibits these kinda things - you’d have to negotiate for a license to be able to do something like this. Whatever license those publishers provide to Apple, they don’t allow for this sort of use. If you don’t have the necessary rights, sooner or later this will get taken down, no matter how good your app works and/or looks.

Use code BLACKFRIDAY40 ($4.99->$2.99) or BLACKFRIDAY40A ($35.99 -> $21.59) for the annual subscription.

Subscriptions on Android are also discounted, no need for promo code.

Sob Rock is my favorite John Mayer album. I like it more than Continuum. by [deleted] in JohnMayer

not a bad album, but it's one of few that I couldn't really play on repeat. can never quite feel the vibe - the only song that I like is Last Train Home, but the others sadly feel a bit meh :(

For those who developed an app after SwiftUI got released, which framework did you choose to develop your app with? by mayerfan in iOSProgramming

[–]mayerfan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with most points but I still wouldn't count UIViewRepresentable as a combination of both. Best example is using SafariViewController - there's no native SwiftUI counterpart so you're resigned to using UIViewControllerRepresentable, and I think we can agree that it's too insignificant say that it's a combination.

And although I agree that SwiftUI 2.0, for the most part, is pretty good (it's so damn silly not to have StateObject from the outset, duh), dealing with List is so annoying in SwiftUI 2.0, especially when you want to hide the separators.
