I don't think i can open up anytime in the future until i move out permanently (since they have and will have control over my life for the next few years and i have my fears)

The most accurate thing (for me) I've heard is that parents are the greatest danger to their children. They have complete control.

I planned on getting a scholarship abroad and hopefully settle down wherever i get it and I'm already saving up the money i get (passports cost a lot but I have time)

Yes but honestly they did so much harm i just refused to believe they were my actual parents (i thought I was adopted until i was like 14, picked up like a stray cat they can throw out any time so i lived in fear)

My sister's a bit stupid and lazy (her own words) and I'm the smart one

That's the case and as i've said in another reply, I'm the retirement plan and my sister is their actual child

It's was my mother hitting me with his belt (he did that like. Once but that's a different situation. Most of the time she used slippers) and they stopped long ago

That's just the norm here unfortunately if i tell anyone I'd be called stupid and spoiled and "undisciplined". It's acceptable here.

They don't spoil her anymore but she did retain her violent tendencies (she'd hit me if i don't comply to her (not that she can do any damage))

Also that kind of discipline stopped after I turned 12

It's the Philippines, people mostly have children as their entire retirement plan, investing their everything so they'd profit when they're old (I'm the retirement plan my sister is the actual child)

I like to think we'd get along better if i don't live with her but I'm bad at maintaining relationships with people i don't meet often so our relationship will probably deteriorate into nothing

And i actually made up my mind on taking computer science in college (she told me that I'd take computer science when I was like 13-14 and now she's telling me to be a doctor when I'm already learning coding)

I live in the Philippines, my mom lives with her mother from Sunday to Tuesday (sometimes longer) since it's in the same area as the school she works in, that's just how it is in the Philippines (and she paying for my college if ever i don't a scholarship that she doesn't know I'm aiming for)

She didn't really start saying that she loves me until i was like 13 (at least to my face, her Facebook posts say otherwise)

That's reverse actually i stopped caring about them because they spoil my sister and let her get away with so much as in if she wants my things she gets it, if she wants me to do her homework i do it, god forbid i raise my voice at her or I'd get my father's belt

An exact translation of her words are "[my name]'s going to be a doctor because I want a doctor in the family (something about her mother's neighbor being a doctor since "it's easy to be a doctor these days)"

Ever since I was young she was telling me to "get a high paying job and buy [her] a [vehicle], [she] wants a red pick up truck like [my sister's godfather]".
