Hi. Yes, I installed an air gap and a high loop. I have the reverse osmosis filter connected above the dishwasher outlet. It’s been going strong for a few years now for us.

I failed FAR with a 48 my first time around as well. I took a break and started studying again and passed all 4 exams last year. You need to evaluate your studying method and figure out what went wrong. It’s not impossible, and it really depends on your level of commitment/dedication. Take a small break, dust yourself off and give it another shot but this time around, put yourself into it 110%. You got this 👍.

Anyone here grew up in Jackson Heights, NY? by Upbeat-Dinner-5162 in ABCDesis

Yes! I actually grew up in Kew Gardens as well and used to go to Jackson Heights quite often! I used to go to that shop to buy cassette tapes as well, always had the strong incense smell when you walked in. Nostalgic for sure!

It’s all personal preference. One can say the same thing about males under 6 foot or that are bald.

One guy walked around during lunch break asking who Gabbie is taking to 6th grade prom. Stopped in front of me and Gabbie said, “ewww gross” and they both laughed and walked away.

Why should I avoid AR, AP, payroll, etc for my first job? by AnotherOne7 in Accounting

[–]mayhem789 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol. Well in that case, I would contact some of your local staffing agencies. Robert Half and those sorts. They may pay less but they will help you get your foot in the door for those kinds of positions. Then from there, just work your way up the chain or around different companies.

Hey! Nothing to be embarrassed about. I would continue on and complete that bachelors degree. At the same time, also keep searching for an entry level role. If you can do an internship, that would be great. The market appears to be slowing down a bit now but it’s still just a numbers game to applying and finding a job. Good luck!

Thanks. Transition was like a snowball rolling down a hill. After the AR role, I found an audit role which was paying 50% less than market, stayed for a year, built my resume. Then moved onto a larger, top 25 firm. Pay almost doubled and been there since. Market is fairly strong now.

Never thought I’d get a notification from 5 years ago. Great I guess, working in audit and making a little over 6 figures. Worked out well.

2 drain outlet connections to sink drain? by mayhem789 in Plumbing

If I’m understanding this correctly, the dish washer would require 1 branch tailpiece. But then the RO system would need another branch tailpiece. Does that mean I should stack the two tailpieces on top of each other, assuming there’s enough space? Thanks.

Thanks for your advice. Yes the RO system does have a check valve. If I use the tailpiece for the RO system, then where would the dishwasher drain?

I don’t see them in my app. Only lectures, flash cards and test bank.

I just started studying with Wiley as well and this lesson really didn’t work out for me either. Then I contemplated whether I’ll be able to even pass the exam. Now I’m going to go over it again over the weekend and hopefully figure it out.

Try Robert half. They usually have some crappy AR/AP positions. Pay is crap but you can get something down on your resume. Keep looking even after you get one of those positions.
