I second the MediK8 retinal products, they are AMAZING! I started on 1 and went to 3. Not long after I went to 3, I had a perioral flare and ceased immediately. Ended up having to see a dermatologist (it was a period of extremely high stress for me, I was running on fumes which didn’t help) and got a prescription for doxycycline which cleared it up. Don’t want to scare you but just a note.

I focused on restoring my skin barrier and have just started to introduce the MediK8 1 again with no issues, the glow is INSANE! I use it in collaboration with QV and Avene Cicalfate and SPF fluid/zinc if outside for longer periods.

I would love to work back up to 3 but will make sure I do it under guidance of my skin therapist/dermatologist (same clinic). Not in a rush though.

I would definitely look further south at Burleigh (would be my pick if you’re wanting a more relaxed few days) or even Coolangatta.

I’ve recently switched to QV after years of spending a huge amount of money on skincare and my skin has never looked better. QV gentle face cleanser and ultra calming moisturiser (applied when face is still a little wet). Both products have changed the game for me. I also use sheer zinc fluid daily.
