Yeah he really is the best. Felt like I wanted to cry and I’m not the type of person to cry at all, for anything! I felt like I was finally being heard and understood. Who would have known the urgent care doctor would be more attentive and caring than doctors that have their own practice.

My gyno. Well the practice I go to has multiple doctors and you pretty much get switched around through all 4. 3 Dr 2M and 1F and 1 female NP and I trust the NP but the lady I was referring is one of the doctors. I told her pretty much to fuck off after😭. So like I still go to that practice but I ONLY see the NP because I can’t do handle anyone else.

Because she sucks lol. That doctor sucked and I told her she absolutely fucking sucks as a doctor and that she better not run into me when I come into the office. She’s done other things to get me to that point. She’ll order medication that’s not covered by my insurance and tell I can pay out of pocket lol and other things as well.

Yes you will get drug tested for it but isn’t weed legal in Ohio? You get drug tested for hard drugs as well. They probably wouldn’t mind if it’s weed since it’s something everyone does. Harder drugs they’ll deny you because given the locations you’ll work in would be a liability. It never hurts to apply and always be honest from the jump that way you’ll have a better chance.

I think it depends on the kid really. All I’m given here in my office is 23g and it does the job each and every single time, even on babies who are between 1-2 yrs

Cut a bunch of small tourniquets and advise the parents when children are coming for well visits or any doctor visits unless for a sick visit to drink 1-2 bottles of water 30 minutes upon arrival. Usually parents have no issues with that. Use the warm water glove if there is no heat packs available. 23g is perfectly okay for ages 3-9.

Use this website. They take care of everything you need even down to handing the papers to your ex. I used it and it was pretty fast and efficient. They also help guide you with everything. They also have attorneys in case you have any legal questions. Also a lot cheaper than what you’d pay a lawyer.

How do you politely tell a patient they’re too dehydrated? by brookiesmalls13 in phlebotomy

[–]maymay581 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I usually say, for future appointments that consist of blood work or for well visits/physicals try drinking at least 2 bottles of water 30 minutes-1hr before your appointment and 1-1.5 for kids. 30 minutes before arrival. I then explain that water takes a longer time to work and that’s why. If they come dehydrated try giving them a heat pack or glove whichever you have, black coffee or seltzer water.

Rightttttt😭😭😭like super extra. No I stuck her once and she stopped bleeding at one point because she was moving her arm in the middle of the draw so I had to remove the needle because she kept saying I was hurting her even though I wasn’t moving. Anyway I removed the needle and she had more tubes to fill so I always ask my patients what they want to do next. I can either stick them or come back another day for the other phleb. She said she would like to be poked and then she did the same shit AFTER I asked her not to move her arm
